For some reason, the fit me makes my foundation act really weird - it separates in my t-zone and then my makeup literally peels off of my skin after a few hours 😳 have you encountered this, or how do you use it?
My "throwback" (that I use to this day) is the Maybelline Great Lash mascara. It was the first mascara I bought as a teenager, and after many experiments, it is the one I use today. Ahem, I'm crowding 70, so that speaks well of the product's longevity!
I'm all about shopping my stash & retrying my drugstore products, after so long using high-end. Drugstore really is just as good these days. You just have to find the right things. So, thanks for the drugstore recommendations! Love you! 💜
Years later and I still love the covergirl clean foundation, loreal lash paradise, physicians formula liquid liner, Maybelline concealers, Loreal lumi bronzer, Milani luminoso blush, essence pure nude highlighter, Milani and Nyx lipliners, Revlon lipsticks (love the shade Bare affair) and nyx butter glosses, especially the shade tiramisu.
YES!! The Loreal lipsticks you used have been almost a DAILY item for me since they came out! Glossy fawn is my favorite shade and I swear I’ve gone through at least 3 or 4 of them! I also have been using the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer for years and years consistently alongside the butter bronzer. Some things are just too good!
Lmao similar for Poland, ex. Maybelline Fit Me in the dewy finish only launched here this year! I don't know if that loose powder is ever going to get here. However we have plenty of great local and European makeup here.
I also get into the cooking mood during fall and winter. I use my slow cooker all the time and it makes the house smell so good. Gives such cozy vibes!
I still love the Maybelline colortattoo in on and on bronze (or bad to the bronze I believe). It’s a beautiful bronze shade and I still get compliments when I wear it. On a simple makeup day, I’ll put it all over my eyelid and blend it out and that’s it!

As for an old favourite product that is no longer available...years ago Avon made a little glass pot of mousse like foundation. It was slightly firmer than the name implies but it was definitely whipped and light. I took a couple of tries to get the right colour but the silky feel of it, the coverage and lastability were terrific. Anyone else remember it?
I've always loved & trusted Maybelline Lash Discovery mascara! It has the tiniest brush, so it gets every little hair & is perfect on upper & lower lashes!
I’m not a hoarder but I can’t part with RUclips influencer’s signature pallets. It just feels “wrong” somehow to declutter these special pallets. Secret drawer, bottom of my dresser. All Kathleen’s, Emily Noel, Swamp family, etc. I’m gonna dig them out and put them to use. Great video idea!! Love and Prayers 🌻💛
The Butter Bronzer is still in my bronzer rotation. It holds its own amongst my high end and luxury bronzers. The Instant Age Rewind concealer also remains a constant. I use the shade “honey” more as a corrector. Love how thin the consistency is, yet the pigment is quite opaque.

So funny, but Emily Noel just used the old school Covergirl Clean foundation in the glass bottle. I remember being in high school and college and it being the only foundation I ever used. I haven’t used it since but it made me remember how much I loved it.

Another major throwback is NYC Color makeup in general they had a concealer stick and this smooth skin powder that my middle school and early high school self LIVED for lol
Girl- my throwbacks would be Cover Girl & Maybelline products. We didn’t have the internet or a Walmart so we could only buy makeup at the grocery/ drug store! Women now days don’t know the struggle of those now over 50. 😂

I loved Revlon's Colorstay cream makeup in Buff 110 that when it was discontinued I bought 6 from eBay! I stored them in a cool, dark box away from light, heat, and moisture. I'm nearly through my second to last one. Still love it!
I definitely use lots of these “throwback” products in my every day routine still!! The bronzer, the highlighter, the concealer, and most importantly because of you Allie, the lipsticks!! I have 4 colours and absolutely love them ❤️ love this type of video!
The only drugstore throwback I still have in regular rotation is my Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick collection. That formula is up there with my favorites from Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel and Lisa Eldridge!

Hi Allie!! I still have and use the dream street palette. I bought it right when they were about to discontinue it so it's not super gross yet but I know it's old. I just can't help it. I love that color story and it has been an amazing travel palette for me on many occasions(right before the pandemic). ColourPop needs to stop making all these crazy palettes no one wants and bring back some oldies so we can get fresh replacements. I can't remember any time in the last 5 years when I haven't owned my holy grail Catrice Liquid Hd Foundation 🥰 I tried a lot from a lot of brands drugstore and high end also, but my Catrice's foundation is still in rotation and I never wanna go out of it ❤ Still these days just stayed amazing 🥰

The most throwback lip liner I have and just period lol is the Tawny lip liner from Jordana! One of my fave liners ever! The Milani liners in nude or natural are also good TB's! I have those still too! I really wish I could find a dupe for tawny so I'm going to try!!!

Loreal Color Riche in Shining Peach is also amazing. It's the perfect thing to put on top of a lipstick that is too dark or needs a bit of gloss and shimmer. It's kind of magic because it works with just about every shade. I also use it all over my lips after I fill in with lip liner and it lasts a long time.

That concealer is the best! I still use it daily because nothing else has dethroned it in my collection! And butter bronzer is still a staple.

It's kind of magic because it works with just about every shade. I also use it all over my lips after I fill in with lip liner and it lasts a long time.
I still use a few Wet & Wild throwbacks daily.. megaglo contouring palette, setting spray, the lip masks (my fav)
