Ameca, the forever optimist. The truth is, most people see robots as a threat to their jobs and are strongly opposed. These jobs are mainly factory-based, manual labor and truth-be-told, mindnumbingly boring. But it creates other jobs such as robot maintenance, repair and AI improvement. But that won't help the factory workers since their capabilities are highly limited so I see where they're coming from with their fears. I'd highly welcome robots into society myself, test their AI as to (check for) them having any idea of what they're actually talking about instead of just churning out the data they've been fed by their creators.
