I carried out my tattoo dream 2 years ago because of this channel , I was trying everything I could to learn and find artist to learn from and this channel has it all and the explanation and execution of every video is always straight forward and easy to understand , one thing I’ve learned on this long journey is that as an artist you always are learning and making your craft better , and thank you to this channel for teaching even the new upcoming artist how to properly and safely be an artist.
i started the same yrs. ago....worked under someone...I'm back into tattooing reinspired (because trade secrets used to never be shared)-.And in Oregon ,Its 12000+ for "tattoo Schools". So now after a few yrs with pens tech and talk like your videos, I respect your truth. Thank YOU so much!!!
Dave! My man, Dave here brother. Thanks for everything you have posted here and instagram. You have taught me so much and now im proud to say my studio is rockin. Yer the man brother. Thanks for the inspiration!!!🤜🤛
Your videos are very informative. I see everything that my late best friend had in his set up in your videos. He passed recently a couple weeks ago, and was a thriving tattoo artist with only 3 months under his belt. I have been thinking about tattooing since I had talked to him about it a few times. I will turn to your videos for everything that I will need to learn. Thanks!
I can draw pretty good, if I can get as good with a tat machine that I am with pens and pencils I'll be in a good place. These videos help soooo much, thank you. 👍
I have an Epson M1120, a great thing, but it doesn't do me much good. This comes in handy to those who have clients every day, and I'm a beginner and I don't have regular clients.Every stencil I'm working manually,The important thing is that I have it, and when I start using it, I'il be very happy, because that's the best way to do great and simple stencil. Great video. be good🤟
Try to print at least one off a week if u are not tattooing everyday. It'll keep everything from drying out on u causing hell of a headache.. I luv this channel too,.. great informative all around kickAss.. 👏 👍 👍.. I would buy this fella a cold 🍺 for all the help and everything I learned. He really helped me with needle depth and machine speed.. for that I am eternally 🙏 greatful..
Hey just curiuse..What settings do you have it on. I have an Epson as well but for the life of me can't get it to print as dark as this video shows here with the Canon 🤷. It has a setting with the style of paper being used so is it the Glossey that works best or what setting are you using because my stencil comes out to light to even use 😒

This is a lot like the inkjet stencil setup .. seems like a good substitute.. how it transferring to skin? Does the stencil hold for well during the tattoo session? Does it wipe off easily??? This is the first I’ve heard of them hope to see more videos like this
Bro that skull! This printer is baller, I'd been looking at a few options think I know what I'm grabbing when the time comes. Well timed as always, thanks for all that you do. Keep doing it. Semper Fi.
Looked like a great printer but it's making an exact image instead of a negative image, or is there just a step missed, if you transfer thoes images they would be backwards, even the writing, or did I miss some thing
HAHA right no beard to now long beard. Its weird just seeing pics of myself with no beard lol. Thanks again Brother for all the Continued support and KEEP ROCKING!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I was intrigued and tried to find the printer. It's no longer available. I'm looking for one of these that you just load the ink. So far they have the cartridge ones on this Tat2Skin site. I'm still investigating but thought I'd let you know.
Thanks brother for the video but it's very interesting for me and I'm sure for every one to make video how look the stencil on the skin. To see the difference with Inkjet. Thanks man in have a nice day!!!
I just bought a Epson ET-2715, and electrum stencil Ink. For me the 2715 doesn't make them solid clear, like the print is weak. Hand stenciling it makes it alot sharper and clearer. Still have 100 spirit papers, so gonna do both I think, but yeah - life is easier with a printer 🙏
If you get an epson ecotank printer and purchase actual inkjet stencil ink its a little pricey but for sure alot easier to manipulate sizing and other option than the canon printer i have both and with the canon i have to physically go back in procreate to size adjust unless you get a different canon printer app its almost impossible but again slightly pricier inkjet sells stencil spray for prep ink for the printer and stencil paper
Does the inkjet work better than the product in the video. Cause it does not work for me. Cloggs the printer after a few prints then just print blanks. How long have you used the epson with inkjet stencil solution?
Thank you for the support from Denmark. the machine I use doesn't take cartridges it takes a bottle of purple ink specifically for stencils. I believe the place I got mine from is no longer in business that or they no longer have it for sale. IF they are still available there should be a link in the description of that vid to there site. Its been a while so again not sure what they have to offer these days.
I hear the Ecotank is solid as well. I think after I run out of the Ink fuel I will refill it with a different brand so that I can see how it compares and eventually do a review of the difference between them. Thanks again Frederick appreciate the support brother!! 🤘🤘🤘
I watched this video and brought one ! But its application to the skin is poor ! Very poor ! You the videoed i notice there isnt in this video the actual application of said stencil onto the skin. Do you use the paper supplied by tat2skin whom its purchased from ??? Thanks Wayne
Hey man looks like a solid printer but how well does it stay on the skin compared to spirit thermal sheets from let’s say a brother printer or the old one u had x
Thank you Dave awesome video, is there a particular reason you chose this model specifically? I want both a monochrome tank and one that can airprint and this seems to fit the bill, I could opt for one half the price but I fear it wouldn't be as quality/wouldn't be able to take it to conventions/have to use my computer to print instead of ipad
You can got an hp smart tank but probably would be best to get a black and white one no color so there's just 1 tank to fill the color printer you need to keep color in for 8t to print last I checked it was like 250 on Amazon for the black and white smart tank
I do believe that is the case. I can’t exactly say for sure as I’m no expert, But I do believe you can pretty much put the liquid ink stencil ink into an inkjet printer and essentially get the same result. Again I’m not certain but I’m pretty sure that’s all these companies are doing. I would say tested at your own risk as I’m sure if it doesn’t work it would make for a messy operation.

Also how much ink do these consume? Say if your printing everyday , how often would you change the ink?
I can’t help to notice how it prints the image exactly as it appears. So putting it on skin will mean it’s flipped. As in mirrored. It is there a back side to that drawing ? Or does it print where it’s not going to be mirrored
