Definitely going to order this Omnibus from my Local Comic Shop this weekend. Only problem will be which cover to choose from. All three are great but I will probably go with yours.
Great overview Omar! Based on the color of the spine, I believe it would have been preferable if the Zdarsky cover was the Standard Cover. It seems as that beautiful blue color in the wonderful Zdarsky cover defined the spine of the book. From the three, I'd definitely get the Zdarsky one if I didn't have the Life Story HC already.
Last spider-man I read was spider-verse. Is there anything I need to read before this? I’m currently reading the Cates Venom Omnibus and the Daredevil Charles Soule Omnibus

I'm absolutely getting this omni. I pre-ordered the Zdarsky cover. As for where I'm placing this, I don't have a lot of Spider-Man omnis so I'm putting this before my Spider-Man by Nick Spencer omnibus.
All the three covers are banger, however Zdarsky’s cover looks very Posh! 🎉 then again I dont know if we will ever get JJJ and Spiderman on the same cover😅

The JJJ identity reveal issue was the massive turning point for me with Zdarsky’s run on Spider-Man. Before that, I really was not enjoying the story at all. But I swear something all of a sudden kicked into gear with that issue and I just loved everyone Zdarsky’s run after that point

This is a much better run and has far better stories than that Brand New Day Omnibus. The Gauntlet, Big Time, and Spider-Island are the stories you would want in an omnibus where Brand New Day wasn’t that good.
Of all Chip's Marvel runs I think this is the one I don't like that much, maybe it's because I'm such a huge Spidey fan and am quite critical when it comes to the stories. Sure there are some good ones like the JJJ interview but especially the beginning of his Spec was quite rough and he wrote Spidey too goofy. Life Story is definetly the best story in this book! Placing this next to Spectacular vol 1 and hoping we get more Spectacular Omnies soon (especially JMD era) 🤞
@@codysummers6842 It directly references it, but it came out over 3 years after Family Business where by definition, it’s not an immediate follow-up. No one used Teresa for 3 years since absolutely no one cared about the character and Zdarsky decided to do so. You can figure out the story without reading Family Business which wasn’t a great story anyways. Everyone was hyped for Family Business since it was Mark Waid co-writing it and then it was what it was.

No, it’s not. That was a Mark Waid story that was written quite a few years before the run so it’s not exactly an immediate follow-up.
