Great chat Matt thanks! It was a pleasure listening to you Stefan, I think we have the same values/interests in games and that's refreshing to hear from a new developer. I just bought Zoria right after the 1.07 patch came out and really love the old school feel of this game. And the support since release has been incredible constantly fixing/improving the game with patches! I would also love to see the regional map..the big map you spoke of Stefan, maps add so much "feel" to the world.
Don't know how I missed this one. Just purchased the game right now. Thank god for MattChat or I may have forever missed out on this clearly passionate game.
Mention România and we come out of the woodwork 😂. Great fun chat. I was one of the ks backers, for Zoria, and only realised it was done by a Romanian team after pledging. Been low key lurking in their discord ever since.
First, I want to see more Zoria! Hope they saw enough sales to work on some story dlc! With that said, Stefan's interview is both refreshing (his candor) and clunky (second-guessing always feels like you're not 100% behind your creation). Just too bad that Zoria released in the long wake of BG3 whereas something like Solasta -- which released in EA alongside an uproven EA BG3 -- did quite well. But as we see with Zoria's Steam reviews, they're going UP over time! Players are slowly finding the game and enjoying it. With a strong dlc or two I could see the potential for a "re-release" of Zoria in the gaming consciousness and it finding a larger audience. Fingers crossed.
Interesting that Heineken 0.0 scored so highly after you were somewhat unimpressed by a bunch of NA craft beers. But I agree, it is pretty hard to tell apart from the original.

So great to see this one. I've been following Zoria since before the Prologue came out. Such a great and passionate team.

Glad to see you, again...Stefan :)
