Hi. Have the same problem on G21. Turn light works normal. Folding mirror and the blind spot indicator does not work. You think ita module? How much it cost and what is that part number?
Hi you need the repair kit to do this job right. You also need some special bmw tools to install the repair kit. You replace the spring and a lock cotter pin to hold it in place. If you have access to bmw repair manual you will find all the information there.

@@ionutionut4098 Its up to you what you want to do, but Im not a big fan of cuting and soldering wires. You can use the rep kit to put the mirror back together again. Its also easier to replace the module in the future if it goes bad.

Yes you need to take a part the door panel. I recommand to order rep kit for the spring inside the mirror before starting.

You can get it from a bmwpart website or your local bmw dealer. Its a common fault on bmw G20/21.

The mirror electronics module, you need to find the one with the right equipment for your vehicle.
Can you not just buy the module and replace it? My car has the exact same issue.
The problem is that 2 cables goes inside the mirror unit and you need to separate them to replace the module.
