Thank you for another great video, I'm just wondering how you stop dust or fluff landing and setting in drying jars, I done some white ones and there is bits of black fluff stuck to it! 😢 Also do you ever use varnish to finish or not? Thank you. Have a great day..
I have never had any dust big enough to see land on the jars . Varnish is too harsh for the paper yet you could put it over the modpodge when all finished if you wish
Will these be waterproof after? Not sure if the glue hardens and seals or if it gets wet will it just wash off? Same question for if you're using modge podge as well. Wet safe or no? Thanks
@Rustic Cottage Co a good mic will pick up even a quiet voice. But you can also caption your videos. I have a speech impediment due to cancer surgery that really screwed with my mouth so I always add my words to the screen when I edit a video just in case people have a hard time understanding me. I haven't done a video in over a year, cancer came back and life stuff happened, but I'm planning to revamp and relaunch doon.
Very often you are out of the frame, and we can't see everything you are doing. I'm enjoying what you are doing!
Your no nonsense approach really inspires me to just find a couple of jars, some glue and napkins and see what I can do. ❤️
Simple is always the best . Thank you
I'm addicted !!!
Great thank you
Beautiful as usual 😍🥰
Thank you
They look lovely but what a shame your camera was on such an angle that we were unable to see all the steps
Thank you
These are lovely, Julie! Thank you for the detailed instructions on decoupaging these two jars. Where do you find such beautiful napkins? ♥

I would recommend putting a water based clear varnish all over the jar and lid to protect it
I feel so frustrated. I always get little wrinkles and I tell myself it's normal but is it really?
Yes it’s normal
I didn't catch your thoughts on the difference between glue and modpodge... why do you prefer one over the other? Thank you
Glue is a little thicker more likely to rip the napkin, modpodge feels better as the top coat harder when dry than the more thicker rubbery glue dry
Can I make a suggestion?.
If you don’t have mod podge and have to use glue, I would water down the glue a little bit, which would make it thinner .
@@christinegs yes I did
Too quiet. Cant hear you
Sorry I do have a soft voice
