Legendary has always been for achievements and masochists. Heroic is the intended way to play Halo. It says so in the games menus and the sanbox, and enemies are set baseline to heroic. Then they're scaled down for normal and easy, and scaled up for Legendary. The only game Legendary worked without any hiccups was ce. It's been a few years since I've done it so I'm going through the original trilogy on mcc on legendary again. Just to have it completed. Unless you play a specific way they're not too fun on legendary, because a lot of the sanbox becomes worthless.
Your guns take up the whole screen because Halo 2, 3, ODST and Reach were made with lowered crosshairs in mind, 343 made centered crosshair the default in MCC and it moves the viewmodel offset up and blocks the screen. You can switch it to lowered in the settings
Halo made me dislike any shooter where the guns are so low on the screen you can't see them, I also absolutely hate games that make you turn the gun to the side and hold it to your chest when not in play... Halo ruined me.
You mean Misha "The Electric Lightbulb" Mansoor? I thought this music had a Periphery sound to it. It is a genre of music from the future, after all. This may be blasphemy, but I still prefer the original Follow.

Halo 2 Anniversary did butcher some of the cutscenes however. They didn’t understand the intent or opted for flashy pretty graphics instead of substance in some instances.
