I was raised in an abusive home.
I now suffer daily from that horrible life, but now I have my own family, with two daughters, and a loving wife.
I can now look back on the abuse I suffered, and I'm glad it happened. I understand now how destructive the abuse was, and on a multitude of occasions i promised myself i would never follow in those footsteps; now, a 40 year old father and husband i have kept my promise, and i always will, that abusive cycle dies with me.

I have been watching some videos of various troubled people, the common theme in their lives is childhood abuse. If everyone could break the cycle of abuse, imagine what a difference we would see in this world. Thank you for doing your part in making the world a better place.
Please continue to forgive and show love to those that have hurt you. Pray for healing and strength to continue to be a force for good, for opportunities to help others heal and find forgiveness in their hearts.

Colds, flus and even c*ncers can exist ONLY in an acidic environment. ALKALIZE the body and prevent or cure. This is why the biblical Daniel's (alkaline-forming) vegetarian diet is so effective. And a quick and easy way to alkalize is a level teaspoon of baking soda (with a big shot of pure lemon juice optional but fantastic) in a little water. (I use about 4 ounces.) I do it before bed every night and haven't had a cold or flu in over 20 years when I used to get them all the time! If you have a cold, this often knocks it out in a matter of hours. (C*ncer requires that one do this two or three times a day until it's gone, and then maintain with once nightly.) You have no reason to believe it, and therefore you shouldn't, but you're getting this advice from the prophesied return of the biblical prophet Elijah. Want to know more? Click and ye shall find!

The beauty in it is when you see your life and the patterns that are revealed. Then understanding why things happened bad or good but with me it’s the bad things and then in years later you understand why G-D removed you from a relationship. During the pain of the loss it becomes understandable. The strength that is given is called wisdom. The temptation finds its way to you again and this time you wisely choose the right path and you have gained strength to refuse to take that wrong path. Then we move on to better decisions etc.
    Sincerely Grateful, Bridgett and Howard

I don't think most people would ask to give them a life with no pain or challenges, even though that could be concievable. I think most people who feel like they've been dealt an overwhelmingly bad card, would just prudently ask God to give them a normal childhood just like the people who weren't wrecked and were loved and actually protected from being deeply messed up at a vulnerable age.
Give me a life where I'm facing the same challenges as the people with healthy upbringing, but in a world where I too had a healthy upbringing and grew up wholesome enough to be able to face those challenges. Just bring down the level of difficulty for me from "Insane" to "moderate" just like my peers had.

Thanks again Rabbi, I´ve a cousin, 60, is deep coma, had a brain casuality 6 months ago, his body is in life support, organs begins to fail...then i heard his wife and daughter that this is a unbearable condition for them, that´s a truly terror, he was the pilar of all family, and they putting their thoughts in that is something thats troubling him, concern with family, with grand-sons, or maybe he doesn´t feel spiritually prepared left the ego to face the passage. But is hard to see those who more love him just giving up, and as you Rabbi says and for shure i feel the strongness of knowing one way or another the cycle of energy´s storing and restoring to a new level each one of us, or the idea we have of Us. He´s just battling for be here and prevale And in the Carma theory makes to me some sense in the infinite process to get the understandig of theUniversalr counsciocness. In this path, hope to be considered, not for those who knows me, but i pray to be hnown by the Divine and their Angels. God guide us, and as the words i learned since child, And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. Shalom Rabbi. A question: Hows the comprehension about Angels in the Jewish Tradition?

We should show more compassion to strangers, demonstrate our love for all we encounter and tell loved ones how much you appreciate and love them.
You can only control your actions and behaviors, let God soften the hearts of others and receive your love.
I believe that people have become more isolated and lonely because of a lack of love in the home as well as showing kindness and respect to strangers. Even small gestures of love can change things for the better. Improving someone's day can have long-reaching positive outcomes for everyone they encounter. Something as simple as a smile can make a big difference.

I admittedly only watched to about the 5 minute mark so far. The comment I have is regarding karma. It requires DEEP self inquiry, mindfulness of your present circumstances, introspection of states and reactions of your being to past events and a fully holistic view of the self. It is an exercise of also meditating on impermanence and the samsaric threads of this world. Creation happens in every present moment. That is and will always be creation's dwelling place. Therefore, the future is always shaped by present action and intent from the self to the interdependent states of all beings. So in this frame, mindfulness is the self coming to awareness and reforging new paths toward practicing and improving in good intent. Loving kindness and warm heartedness towards oneself and all beings. There are also the Bodhisattva(s) in Buddhism, ones that have gained a pure state of mind and fullness of the causes of dukkha. Yet the Bodhisattva chooses to keep incarnating until all beings can be relieved of dukkha. Instead of resigning to ones own bliss, the Bodhisattva strives to bring bliss and understanding to others and will keep incarnating to worlds Such as this one and perhaps similar yet beyond this one in which we can only humanly conceive. There is a deep richness and true openness and interdependence to Buddhism where it is not in conflict with any religion at its roots, and is also a bridge for Atheists to provide humanist philosophy. Take the well known Poet Allen Ginsberg, his poem Howl and the commentary in the poem that still prevails to this day. He himself had become a Buddhist in his later life. However Buddhism is not a label, but more of a tool of finding harmonic resonance with the existential that is impermanence. And at the root of all religion, what also rings true is we all (deep down) want ourselves everyone to feel loved, honored, and that they matter.
This is of course my personal view, and it's intent is to bring perhaps more inquiry to Karma.
But I am also here to learn and really listen as Rabbi Jacobson has provided much gifts of insights to me in all of his videos. 🙏
And I will finish once I can get my Ego out of my own way.
I myself am not a practicing monk and any intent taken in a negative way in this comment is wholly mine to receive and not others that practice Buddhism.❤

For someone to say to trust others again after what they been through is like saying it's their fault that the people that wronged you did it. I will never trust anyone because everyone is a user, stand back and observe you can't miss it.
