It's so nice to see the night life in Da'an District and all the local vendors at the Shida Night Market and Yongkang Street. 😃 There's no shortage of delicious eateries! 33:43 Free dried strawberry sample, and it looks good! 😋🍓 Thank you for sharing this relaxing evening stroll, AK! 🤗

this made me very happy! I used to walk shida road everyday to attend my chinese lessons at the shida language center from 2011-2012 :) The night market used to be way busier back then

Shida night market used to be much bigger. The vibe was very nice with all the exotic food and shops. It was my favourite night market in Taiwan.
However, the area is actually mostly residential, so the residences protested because it's illegal to have vendors and shops in some of the area.
There was a crack down around 10 years ago.

That's interesting. I can see why that would be an issue because there are many homes around there.

The areas by Taiwan University definitely have more stores than NTNU. You can find one of the most famous gua bao, and stinky tofu there too 😆

Why so many people still wearing masks? We hardly ever see that here anymore. In Montana.

Asian countries have always have worn masks, I think because of air quality, and it’s flu season, I still wear my masks in stores, lol, from NY.

Wearing a mask has always been fairly normal , especially during flu season.

The influenza epidemic has been raging recently, and many people are wearing masks in public places for fear of being infected.

You’d wear mask if there’re always thousands of ppl around you during flu season
