The Horns part on here is amazing!!! Measure 29 is challenging at first, but you can get it after a while. I went to a clinic and learned it after 2-3 times playing it. Back to back. That horn solo is 😍😍 btw.
I love this song! My band is playing it, and it is amazing. The beginning always makes me think of Super Mario Galaxy. Then it morphs into something reminiscent of Harry Potter.
I'm playing it on timpani now and my band director wants to take me off of timpani! I wanna play it, the beginnings not hard, it's the end. Any pointers?

I played this in 1985 in the Bruner band in Fort Walton Beach and again in the Crockett High School in Austin band in 1990.
No wonder this recording sounds really old
Also it must have been amazing living through the 1980s
1:52 I LOVE this part of the song
This brings back a lot of great memories. Thanks for the upload. This song was hard as hell, but we nailed it at the concert (^_^)b
I don't know why but this song gives me Jumanji/Indiana Jones vibes, This song is so good!!
Good clean playing. Thanks.
I’m playing this in school right now and I’m getting the hang of it but 3rd trombone part is really confusing
the lowwer parts are all most a quote from the song all day and all of the night

I'm playing this in band for NYSSMA majors :)
@TheHiMan3 Yo, you think that's hard. You should see the weird kind of syncopations I get at that same bar for timpani.
I'm first trumpet on this piece and it's really hard for us... this coming from a band that got a division I at festival. :\
