When I released my album NOPE a year ago, I didn't stop writing songs. I composed these three songs in June 2020 because I had this idea of wanting to release an EP called “Winter Tales" and every idea, from lyric videos to how the songs should sound like, got stuck in my head.
It was the time when Luca and I were getting ready for our move to Canada. In summer of 2020, we still believed that we would move in December, but it is already January 2021 and we are still stuck in Germany due to the pandemic.
However, I imagined how the cold season in Canada would be like. I thought of mountains and winter snow and calm and making a clean cut. I saw it as an ending, but also as a beginning.
So, I hope you enjoy my EP. There are three songs: “Silent Writer”, “Up The Mountain” and “Simple Man”. This time, I produced AND mixed them all by myself. It is the first time that I have done EVERYTHING alone. I was really nervous about this release!
