2024 is turning out to be an amazing year for comics! I have been mentioning on my other channel That's Comic-Cal about how the big books are going to be coming from the Indy comics world and honestly, it looks like that is the case. I mean don't get me wrong I love my DC and Marvel. As someone who started collecting again in 2019 (collected in my youth from 1992 - 1997) but, there are just some amazing new a fresh ideas over at Image, Dark Horse Boom! Studios etc. Also, the fact that you have a first edition of Secret Wars #8 is crazy! I am collecting the Secret Wars Fascimile set that is coming out this year so I will have a copy of that issue just not the origonal...I'm good with that!

Some great goals there..if you are on What Not.. dip into Limited Editions UK, Apeman Comics, Comic Box UK...they each tend to have a stack of ASM, Variant Covers especially Artgerm and Peach and Captain Britain / Excalibur from the late 70s often turn up. Most start with £1 bids .. and often run multiple days throughout the week..

Great way to start off the new year! I know how expensive those sub 100 ASM issues can be hahaha. These are all great goals, just be sure to enjoy the journey along the way.

Be glad you are more a Spider-Man fan than Batman. I'm working on a Detective Comics run, and some of those early ones are very expensive.

Good luck with your collecting goals. The ASM run of 1-100 can be pricy, though if you are willing to accept low grade raw copies, approximately 75 of them are relatively affordable. I have been working on a 1-100 slabbed run, this year I hope to finish off the run as I am down to just ASM 3.
Definitely going to be looking for low grade raw copies for my PC. Just ASM 3?!?! That's so awesome you have so many! Hopefully I'll be able to say the same within a few years
Happy New year! Great to have one goals and direction for not just the hobby but the channel. I also have a hard time with what to focus on and a lot of time go for the more bang for my buck. I wonder if I should sit down and make a list. Funny I was just looking at that Ultimate Fallout #4 too! I was curious if prices were going down...nope not really. Good video as always!
Maybe luck will be on our side this year and we'll both get and Ultimate Fallout 4! I definitely recommend making a list of books you want to focus on getting, I have a feeling it'll be very helpful for keeping me on the right track throughout the year

Love that you counted the number of times I actually said Teen Titans🤣 Probably Fan Expo Chicago this year. My family has gone for a couple of years now and we all love it!

Good luck on the Asm books i'm been collecting Avengers for along time and yes there is some big books still missing. P.s Cosplay if you could go threw the stages desgin sourcing material etc.
Hopefully you can complete the Avengers run some time soon, that'd be awesome! I'll definitely go through design stages and picking fabric for the cosplay videos
Great video, great goals. Quality over quantity. Questions for your Q&A: 1) best/worst Spider-Man love interests 2) opinions on female superhero characters (not asking just because your a woman but because your favorite characters seem to be female [maryjane, captain marvel, etc.]). If you want to dip your toes into live streams, I suggest asking Ricky and Mr Akin to join there’s. Best to get practice in a group setting as colleagues can support you. I like your current background, looking forward to seeing the changes. Keep it simple, imo. I like the diversity of comics, art, poster.
