Modi wave is not over, its a course correction and reminder given by the people.The new modi govt has to address the rural distress, farmer and middle class issues big time. Building temples will not get jobs for the middle class in urban and rural areas. To win the people's trust, the new govt will have to work big time. Modi should worry about two people sitting next to him left and right than the opposition.
Some good things BJP did but also some not so good things and Indians dont like most BJP politicians and their attitude, i dont mind some lying to the public but they did too much a little bit of lying is okay.
He is great leader, but there were a few gaps and learnings. And scamgress offered $$$$$$$ to voters. So BJP will learn, refine and bring more people along.

But INDIA alliance did very well and they are in a position to form the government in case Naidu and Nitish withdraw the support. Mainly In U P, Akhilesh and Rahul distributed one lakh guarantee cards alongwith some slips showing if BJP is voted to power again the constitution will be changed and they will abolish reservations. I think this is the reason for BJP's failure to get 300 plus seats.

I have a question for the BJP and its supporters. BJP had put abrogation of Article 370 in their 2019 manifesto. Harshvardhan, BJP ka vote share despite tremendous support from some allies e.g. RLD, TDP, and JDU did not increase and overall seats have gone down by 60. Imagine if JDU, TDP, and RJD were with INDIA or fighting independently, BJP would have lost 30-40 seats more. Also, BSP which fights as a B team of BJP hit India on at least 18 seats.

Main two reasons for sub par BJP performance this election: Muslims as a whole ghetto have not voted BJP. A good number of Christians too would not have voted BJP. That's is one reason. The second reason being the Agnipath scheme (very appropriate and optimum for a developing country like India) was disliked by the rural, small town semi-educated youth (and their families) of the Northern plains since that was the only proper career choice made available to youth in the Hindi states.
