@@mehdi2081 he never plotted the Rxx of X_noisy because he left the xcorr(x,x) on row 11. it should be xcorr(x_noisy,x_noisy). Anyway we can test it for ouself

Yeah this is incorrect, since if you keep increasing the noise in the signal, you cannot find the peaks and hence cannot find the fundamental frequency.
