    when we used LPF then how come there is noise after 250khz? Also he mentioned that our signal is at 50khz and 125khz but from graph i am seeing two peak amplitude signal at 50khz and 250khz..did he said it wrongly? kindly explain as i am new in this domain. thanks

    i want to make a multirate filter bank so i m using 11 bandpass filters but after combining there is a distortion in the output(PESQ score 3) any suggestions?

    6:26 How did you get that it's 50 kHz and 125 kHz are the signals?

      But i thing if we just consider 0 - 150 KHZ range (left of the graph ) the harmonics content of the original signal lies between the 50 Khz - 125 Khz .

    why is the frequency of your signal and your Fs the same? does it suppose to be at least Fs = 2F?

    I just tried what have you done. But i have question. My filter makes phase delay which is not good for controlling. How can i rid of this? Thanks for your answers :)

    I dont have the vector scope block, can someone please tell which library contains it, so that I Can Download?

      Hello! The Vector Scope block was removed in release 2018b. Instead you should use Time Scope, to visualize time domain signals, Spectrum Analyzer, to visualize frequency domain signals, or Array Plot, to visualize other input domain signals. Hope that helps.

    Hello. For our final work (highs school) we have to work with Matlab and the fouriertransformation. We have to record low piano notes while tuning forks are playing on the background. Our teacher suggested to follow video's to accomplish our mission. We have some issues with the 'firl'code, when we use this code this appears on the screen: Error: Invalid expression. When calling a function or indexing a variable, use parentheses. Otherwise,
    check for mismatched delimiters. Can somebody please help us with the codes.

    I am using the GUI program in MatLab so I have designed an RLC circuit so when the user enters the value of R, L and C ryt but I have to how It displays the type of filter it is (low pass, high pass, etc.) for will be the code for that? can you help

    Worst presentation of digital filters i have ever seen.. dude is making a confusing mess of this subject. for example guy doesn't even mention that there are significant trade offs between using an FIR vs an IIR that he switches to get his pole count down.. and this is kids stuff.

    This Cornell dude is very irritating. He could avoid all the unnecessary talkings. if he is a novice in the field, better be in the student's seat than hosting it. I am downvoting it because of him. otherwise the contents are good
