I'm glad you tried this game. I was going to tell you Tommy and Feedback to try this game. It is like a zoomed in version of HOI4 in the combat in more detail without the grand strategy game aspects of HOI4.
And here am I, looking at my Operation Overlord: Only one enemy tank division alive which is able to take Pegasus Bridge because of a stupid emergency supply. I know Unity of Command is not easy but this is embarassing if you already know it^^
The game is so inaccurate Hitler only woke up at 12:00 and didn't even let the SS HermannGöring division get to the beaches. He only allowed them to go at his order. Basically, the game just pretends that a) panzers can move as fast as trains and b) that the panzers got deployed to the beaches ASAP. They need to add in a 'Hitler snooze' button that freezes the Panzers.
