I like to think that Booth forgot to 'fix' the ending or just didn't change it so if their kids ever see the video the part where Bones runs up and hugs Booth is still in there, and it reminds their kids how much they loved each other and makes them happy.
When Booth says the part about helping Brennan be happy, all I could think about was that he's just assuming she'll outlive him because he can't imagine it being the other way around and he has to live without her. 😢
