- In our latest explore we sneak into an abandoned mansion that was rumoured to have Johnny Depp lurking around back when it was first built in 2004.
This 22,000 sq ft abandoned building remains unfinished in 20 years but still has bits of beauty in the architecture. This is up there for abandoned places it’s set in 11 acres it has or was going to have 7 kitchens, 12 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms not to mention a cinema room, 35 berth nuclear shelter, secret escape tunnel, 10 car garage and even an underground aquarium. Oh, there’s a massive man made lake and an outdoor and indoor swimming pool to.
This abandoned building might not look it but it’s a huge derelict wreck, luckily in the coming weeks it’s finally going to have some work done as planning has gone through and the owners will be converting the abandoned mansion into 17 flats.
