One cool route is to go south to Leadville, then to Twin Lakes and over the Continental Divide down into Aspen. While in Leadville, DO NOT MISS the mining museum.
Love, loved the video of the Hot Air Balloon ride in New Mexico. That was so cool! I had always wanted to ride in one, but never happened. Great video!
We love Ouray....cannot beat those hot springs!!!!! You might want to ride the railroad in Silverton and Durango while you are there....beautiful area....have fun!
We were just there around Ouray and Silverton a few days ago with our truck camper. We dispersed camped along the Million Dollar Highway one night between the two towns. We were at over 9,700’ next to Red Mountain Creek and when we woke up the next morning it was 39°. Kind of noisy being adjacent to the highway but a good spot nonetheless! Thanks for sharing your travels and stay safe.
Another awesome video. We LOVE Colorado. As a matter of fact, we have escaped the Texas heat and are in Lake City, CO with our Jeep now. Plan on going to Ouray over the pass. Beautiful place to be. Enjoy and safe travels
Hi guys! I love this little town and the area u r in! The Million $ Hwy is spectacular! If u stay a few weeks more u can catch the beauty of the fall colors! The drive between Durango and Ourey is gorgemous in the Fall! The train ride from Durango to Silverton is a must if u havnt ever been on it! I have been on it 3 times! Nice campsite and yummy dinner (Kellie's little seat dance says it all)! Thanks for the tag-along and safe travels till next time🌞✌️
I just wanted to let y’all know, I love your videos, and also wanted to thank you for the recommendations not to long ago about the Coleman oven. Love it. Keep traveling..
Omgsh, this was the most beautiful trip I've ever been on...😂. The scenery, the waterfalls couldn't have been more gorgeous. Wow! And I'll be putting quesadia ingredients on my grocery list!
Cody and Kelly ya great that hot springs helped Cody back and I see that Kelly has a pet rock is there going to be a new cook book and bicycle hike maybe a kayak trip those were great oh any fishing Cody take care happy camping
You would love Hot Sulphur Springs in northern Colorado, one of their pools has a hot waterfall you can stand under and massage your shoulders. I think there are twenty-some pools there.
Here you are back in my neck of the woods and so glad y'all are enjoying it again. i have lived in Southwest CO for 20 years and will never tyre of it's beauty and back country roads to adventure on. Safe travels!
I heard part of the reason for the orangy color of the water in Ouray is due to the gold mine tailings flowing into the river and creeks. Bring your own drinking water! I've been through Ouray with family decades ago and forgot how beautiful the Colorado mountains are! And those natural waterfalls! SO amazing. I believe there is also an amazing Mexican restaurant in downtown Ouray that for some reason always stayed in my mind, even to this day 😄Good times, good food! That's what memories are made of! Thanks for sharing!
We have the same taste in Ice cream. Lol That broccoli and cheese soup you made was so good looking I could almost taste it through the screen. I would love to taste your cooking. Try putting some sour cream in with your salsa...mmmmmm good
Oh thank you so much for this gorgeous video! My soul loves Colorado! It's been too long since I was there for sure. I'll bet that hot springs felt so good.
Part of being an obsessed fly fisherman, I've studied cold mountain streams. Many have that brown color on the rocks. I think it's usually a brown algae that grows on the rocks.
I always get a headache after being in the Ouray hot springs. Next time, try the Orvis hot springs down the road just south of Ridgway. Probably more your style too.
Your video was perfect, what a great place to get into the water, Kellie’s cooking creativity is awesome too. You two go together well and are enjoying life.
HI CODY & KELLIE 👋 GORGEOUS VIDEO FOOTAGE UP IN THE MOUNTAINS OF TOWNSHIP OF QURAY 📹 GORGEOUS CAMPSITE 😉 GLAD CODY IS STARTING TO FEEL BETTER TOO . BEAUTIFUL HIKE & WATERFALLS ALL THE SOUNDS BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS . BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 GOD BLESS YOU BOTH ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏 AS ANYONE EVER TESTED THE WATER / STREAM TO SEE IF IT'S SAFE TO DRINK JUST WONDERING ?
WHAT A TERRIFIC DAY. Loved the hike to that GREAT FALL. THAT WAS AMAZING... So beautiful, all around you. How interesting the hot pools. Glad to see your back is doing much better. You look so much better. Great camping spot, and your dinner looked so yummy. Thank you for sharing your GREAT DAY. God Bless you both, stay safe and see you next time. I look forward to your journey. ❤ Take Care
Wonder where your heading next. We r on the way out to Colorado as we speak. We r hiking segments 7-10 of the Colorado Trail. That would be awesome to see y’all while out there!!
Cody, I hope u know that u shouldn’t spend more than 10 minutes in the hot tub or hot springs. The heat will dry the moisture in the muscles which is where elasticity comes from. I learned that the hard way a number of years ago. Hope u feel better. Back problems are not fun. Enjoy your content. Keep up the good work.
Golly Pete that place was stunningly beautiful 🤩 You don’t have to look for treasure there!! It’s right in front of you lol 😆 Love your little food dance Kellie ! I always laugh when you do it 😀 Happy camping you guys 💜
I love Ouray! I camped at Ridgeway St Pk last summer for a week. Thanks for sharing the hikes. That was such an impressive canyon and waterfall! Chips and salsa! Yes!
I'll be in Santa Fe, NM and hopefully Colorado Springs next month. A 5 hour drive but seems it'd be worth it for that waterfall, lol! So cool. Now I've got the Grottos Trail near Aspen picked out separately as well after searching around on google maps. Thanks for the suggestion!
Cody..I believe the town is pronounced: like Ooooray, like who, Oooray. You could check with several different people in this town to find out. I could be wrong. Love it there. Colorado awesome. We live here in the state.
We went through Ouray once in October and not much was open that late in the season. This was another awesome video showing spectacular scenery and interesting things to do. Thanks for living your best life and allowing us to live vicariously through you!
The San Juan Mountains of Colorado… my favorite place in the world !
Yep, it’s “Uray” if in Ridgeway, be sure and try the Gnarly Taco Tavern
One cool route is to go south to Leadville, then to Twin Lakes and over the Continental Divide down into Aspen. While in Leadville, DO NOT MISS the mining museum.
I love Colorado. I lived in Colorado when I was in my early 20’s. I would go out hiking in the mountains just about every weekend.
No freaking way! My wife and I just stayed in that exact spot on the 26th. Crazy to think we just missed you, small world.
Beautiful Ouray, scenery awesome, luv Kelly hat, Cody made me hungry 😋those salsa dip looks yum. Enjoy guy's
The red staining of the river is most likely from iron/iron ore in the rocks.😊
I grew up in Ouray , learned to swim in that pool.
Oh my goodness that water fall is awesome
The orange water is from mine tailings and often drainage from the old mines.
Copper leached water.
Really liked the music background while flying the drone, and also the music at the end. Another nice, calm video. 🌺🌺🌺
Kelly needs a "Kelly Can Cook" apron.
Cody needs a tshirt that says. "I Exercise because Kelly Can Cook"
You two are the best!!!
Love, loved the video of the Hot Air Balloon ride in New Mexico. That was so cool! I had always wanted to ride in one, but never happened. Great video!
Colorado is such a gorgeous place!
That looks like a fun day! I always love Kellie's cooking. Thank you for your reply!
Imagine the scenery around the town with snow. Oh my!
Thanks for sharing Ouray with us… again! I remember when you were in a tent there.
I like revisiting places.
Two beautiful people having fun. Thanks for sharing!
Such a beautiful small town in Colorado
I stayed at a dude Ranch in Ouray, Colorado over 25 years ago, and visited Telluride and Durango...one of the best trips I ever made
We love Ouray....cannot beat those hot springs!!!!! You might want to ride the railroad in Silverton and Durango while you are there....beautiful area....have fun!

I love Ouray & telluride areas of Colorado!!
Telluride Colorado is another beautiful town. If you have not been there, i highly recommend.
If I remember correctly the orange color of creek water is from mine tailings hence possibly not drinkable. ⛏
Another awesome video. We LOVE Colorado. As a matter of fact, we have escaped the Texas heat and are in Lake City, CO with our Jeep now. Plan on going to Ouray over the pass. Beautiful place to be. Enjoy and safe travels
I love those mountains that embrace Ouray!
💫❤️💫
Number 4 in comments! I’m gonna have to work on that, great to see you guys. Safe travels.
We've been there and loved it, too. We didn't do the hot springs, though. Maybe next time. Happy camping 😊.
Wow, going through the mountain like that and seeing the waterfall is the most amazing thing that I have ever seen, thanks guys.
that warm water looked sooooo gooood
Love Ouray Co. and Red River NM. Stay safe
Y’all this is our favorite place! Nothing like Soaking, driving the Million $ highway to awesome Silverton❤️❤️
That place is outrageous! What a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing!

I love ouray co. I was there in May of this year. I drove south on the 550 WOW AMAZING I hope to go back next year.
I just wanted to let y’all know, I love your videos, and also wanted to thank you for the recommendations not to long ago about the Coleman oven. Love it. Keep traveling..
Cody, keep a small container of milk and drink after eating hot food to help alleviate the burn ❤️🔥. It really works!! Great vlog ❤
Absolutely do this. The milk after eating hot foods.
It works well..
You can stir in some yogurt or sour cream to the salsa to ‘cool’ it off some! And delish still!
We’ve been eating the same brand salsa verde on our black bean, rice and chicken burritos! They make great salsa! Love your adventures!

We live in Pagosa. Lots of good camping around here too!
Here you are back in my neck of the woods and so glad y'all are enjoying it again. i have lived in Southwest CO for 20 years and will never tyre of it's beauty and back country roads to adventure on. Safe travels!
Incredible episode, probably the best you've done

Try putting some sour cream in with your salsa...mmmmmm good
Drone shots were awesome and wishing I was in the hot springs.
Love that area.....Silverton to Ouray is gorgeous. Lots of great camping in the Weminuche Wilderness . The absolute best drinking water.
Quesadillas look so good... we will be making them tonight!!
Chips/salsa is my weakness. There's no stopping until it's all gone. Thanks for sharing the video.
Oh thank you so much for this gorgeous video! My soul loves Colorado! It's been too long since I was there for sure. I'll bet that hot springs felt so good.
Been there love all of Colorado going back next month 😊
That's awesome and so beautiful!!

I caught Kelly doing her shoulder shrug with her fajita quesadilla, it must be delicious.
Your video was perfect, what a great place to get into the water, Kellie’s cooking creativity is awesome too. You two go together well and are enjoying life.
I love seeing what Kelly cooks up in the kitchen. I only wish my wife and I were as creative with meals when we're camping!
Notebook, jot down what they're cooking and the ingredients. Your wife will be blown away!
@@phoenixaz8431hello from Poland,my channel 😊 and countryside 🏡!
@@agnesskibicka Hello Agnes! Have a great day. ☀
I suggested the hot springs for Cody on the last video. Glad you found one!!😂😂😂
Hoping that blade of grass Cody is chewing ain’t got no chiggers on it. 😂😂😂
Oh my goodness! Those drone shots!!! ❤
We were there 3 months ago...omg it is loud there!
Cody you have to try the 505 Hatch Green Chili salsa. Sooooooo good!!!
I think Telluride is somewhat more beautiful that Ouray. You should definitely check it out if you haven’t been there.

Great day! It's on my bucket list for sure now.
Yes, thank-you for sharing your adventures. Hey, would love to know you all met and married✨
We have covered that topic many times. We will have to do it again soon

Enjoyed!! Looks so nice, and what a beautiful camping spot with those gorgeous trees. Loved the hot springs! Keep on keeping on!😎
Love ❤️ seeing Ouray and surrounding areas via your drone! So beautiful. We love that area of Colorado too!!
I love Ouray! I camped at Ridgeway St Pk last summer for a week. Thanks for sharing the hikes. That was such an impressive canyon and waterfall! Chips and salsa! Yes!
Good job on eating 505 (New Mexico) salsa in Colorado haha😅 they’re always arguing on who’s chile is the best. Obviously hatch is the best!
Very nice video!!
Yep. I grew up in Co. And it is Oooouray!
I've lived here for 60 years, never once heard anyone pronounce it ooray LOL. Your ray.
Kinda like pronouncing Tillamook huh ;). Everyone has their way
@@teresadofredo9908 Don't pronounce Mancos wrong, they'll run ya outta town! "It's pronounced Mancus."
That is ok we have Puyallup. Stillaqumish, Sammish, Sammamish and Mukilteo...and that is just the beginning
I meant to rub it in… you know Johnny Whild caught a fish bare handed… ( Angel Princess’s brother! has his own RUclips channel! )
NICE!...I've never been there but I feel as though I have now... thanks for your videos ❤️
Cody try the 505 brand hatch green Chile salsa! It is the 💣
Oh that water you need to gold pan in that water.
Loved this episode.
❤ hay you 2!
The water being that color there's a lot of iron in it.
Mining there usually the red is arsenic. Wouldn't use the water.
We went through Ouray once in October and not much was open that late in the season.
This was another awesome video showing spectacular scenery and interesting things to do. Thanks for living your best life and allowing us to live vicariously through you!
Have you guys been to Zapata Falls, north east of Alamosa? It reminded me of the waterfall you just featured
Have yall ever been to Telluride, CO? It's on my bucket list. Another great video and I really enjoy watching yall.
505 is Albuquerque new Mexico's area code
