@weathernerdsunite you won't be laughing when it's -30 outside and the power grid fails!!! Haha 😄 Polar Vortex gonna stop right over the TVA: Tennessee Valley Authority, all the power grids intersect..All your water pipes will freeze, then you in trouble 😆 😜 I'm sure it will be very funny 😁 😂 😀 😄
@weathernerdsunite premise of being frozen to death isn't amusing. See Texas power grid failure . Our infrastructure was not engineered to withstand these temperature extremes. Wake up and smell the coffee ☕️ 😌 😁😄😌
This negative nao is perfect for cold, however, I think moisture would be less of a question mark if we were in an El Niño and I think we are in a neutral phase if not a weak La Niña. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m a snow fan so I hope for snow in southern Pennsylvania this winter!
@@crazymanyt5126 yes we are in a neutral phase. The problem where the polar vortex may set up is that it will cut off all moisture potential and dove some extremely dry cold air into the country thus limited snow chances except for maybe the Great Lakes!
Yes, however there are possibilities for moisture to connect with the sub-tropical jet that could create an east coast and southern snowstorm. Not saying this will happen just that there are chances.
Where I live in southern PA we are expecting rain and snow showers next monday from the dud storm And then dry and cold 10 straight days No big snow in sight
@@henner-x8u hey just getting ready to post a new report right now. Depends on what part of Pennsylvania you're in. Looks like the southern part of the state might get hit pretty decently and of course the area is around. The great lakes are also looking a little hot but the central portion right now not so much.
I am trying to take advantage of the current warm weather for as long as possible!

I think I'll go hibernate next week until spring.🤣 Good morning sunshines 🌞 Have a blessed and fantastic week everyone. Thank you Greg.
You too! Just make sure the car batteries okay!
@weathernerdsunite yes sir. Hubby took care of that and maintenance this past weekend. Thank you 👍
Maybe this cold will get rid of this sickness going around.
Probably make it worse! Lol
@@weathernerdsunite Lol maybe

The Polar Vortex really means business as we go into the New Year.

@ that is always true because whenever we have had a polar vortex drop down, the models have always had a hard time with it

100 degrees below 😱 0!!! Haha 😂🎉😢😮😅
Not that cold but I think the coldest air since Dec 2022 the way it is looking!
