I really like the aggressive feel of the main intro riff and Live it feels even heavier. On top of that the drums by Haruna just move the song along like an unstoppable train at full speed! Asami's vocals really soar on top of the insanity going on with the instruments, it feels fantastic! Especially the 2020 version on their channel, sounds amazing! That pause you talked about it's something that fits really well in that section, playing with the short silence, it catches the listener off-guard. And the bridge part before the solos is an awesome section for the crowd to get involved, awesome! 🤘🔥
Pretty much all of Lovebites songs are extremely well written. They know what works, and they use those formulas. Lots of interesting layers. Which is why they use backing tracks. Unless they want to put Miyako on keyboards full-time, and hire another lead guitarist, they are forced to use backing tracks. Which is perfectly fine, considering how much they put into these songs.
Deviating from Holy War, talking about live and studio recording, I prefer some studio recodings and Mvs, like Shadowmaker, Judgement Day, Stand and Deliver, and may be Winds From Transylvania for their good balance of mixing, every sound is clear in those tunes. There's no live for The Bell In The Jail but it'll be very hard to beat this perfect recording but their sound engineers are really capable of their business then may be it might happen. I just love the bold rhythm section with unleashed wild Fami and mighty Haruna in The Bell In The Jail. Contrarily, some lives are better in the mixing such as The Crusade and some others which I don't recall right now.

Thanks for the comment. I'd love to hear Bell in the Jail live. I'm also curious how the mix will sound when they perform it
