What's not clear to me is whether, when just getting a vocal in tune, Melodyne is used in place of the Nectar 3 Pitch Correction module or in combination with it. If the former, why have Pitch Correction in Nectar? Is it just for the effect value - formant, etc?
The Pitch correction in Nectar is more of that G-Snap auto Pitch Correction kind of thing used for the effect. It's almost more of Modulation effect than an actual usable autotune for surgical pitch correction.
When melodyne is applied to a track, the waveform does not align w/ the actual audio anymore. I am forced to print to fix it. Any other solution? #izotope #melodyne #ableton
Hey there. Once you’ve completed the rent to own process with Splice you will receive the serial number for Nectar which you can use to activate your melodyne license.

Im thinking about getting the Vocal chain bundle...is this compatible on PC like a gaming pc?(if so with what specs for most optimal results because I do prefer PC) 2nd part of this question...how do I integrate with studio one Artist(or must i upgrade) last question Would it just be better to get a Mac with logic pro added on it for best setup? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I just installed Melodyne 5 essential with my purchase of Nectar 3 .. how do I get to it? I'm in Ableton, no Melodyne plugins are showing up

Yes, once you own the product through Splice you’ll receive a serial which will activate your copy of Melodyne 4 essential.

no. Newtone is the one who similar to Melodyne. Melodyne can do a lot more than Newtone.
