❤️❤️❤️ those blues and yes, I have been to Greece. In 1997, 6 weeks on the island of Samos. I would sit at night and watch fantastic sunsets and look across to Turkey. Funny thing, on sunset nights, was when I first heard the Barbie song😂😂. It was a fun fun time and lots of memories 💕💕

Just came back from Greece 🇬🇷. Amazing food, orange juice will never be the same after having theirs. I can close my eyes and see all the hues of blue color. Welcoming people everywhere, with the exception of cab drivers in Athens and in Santorini, because they speak greek. But had the best gelatos in Santorini, beautiful boat rides and sunsets. Crete was my favorite, because of their proud and nice people, wonderful honey and olive oil 🫒. The arqueologic sites are amazing. I'm sure you will have a bless
In 2018, while studying abroad in Germany, I had the chance to go on a two week Grecian excursion. It was without a doubt the best part of my time spent abroad. I visited Athens, Corinth, Delphi, and Nafplion. Listen Katie, as a fellow texan… YOU MUST GO. It’s such a magical country and the people (largely focused toward tourism) are so warm and friendly. The food is delicious, the weather is amazing and literally everything everywhere is beautiful (i know it sounds like i’m overselling but I really mean it). Also!!! Relative to much of Europe and just travel in general greece is SO CHEAP. I cannot recommend visiting enough- especially Delphi and Nafplion!!!!!!! If you get the chance, you have to visit the original olympic stadium- the magnitude of the history there is overwhelming and genuinely life changing. I can’t wait to get my hands on this soap!!!!
I went to Athens with some friends a few years back and it’s one of my favorite memories! We took a day trip to the temple of Poseidon with a stop at Lake Vouliagmeni along the way. Midway through there was a crazy rainstorm, but at both places the skies were clear! It was like the gods were smiling down on us
I love the neon sign!!! On the other side something you could add could be little shelves and maybe display some of your favorite soap bars or perhaps the soaps you've already made for that month. The shelves could be like stair type shelves not ones you have to hang up just so that each soap can be on a different level 😄
When you mention "Coastal Summer," my first thought was Greece with the vivid blues of sky and sea against the white-washed buildings. I am so excited to see that someone else had the same idea and that you made it!

I got to go to Greece in college. I loved it! I love Greek food. My favorite places were the Acropolis in Athens and Delphi. It was raining in Delphi and the mountains were all misty. It leant a mystical air to the ruins which was really neat to walk around. Also, marble is slippery and I can remember falling down a lot. Like the ground is just raw marble polished by tourist feet and I feel down all the time!
I think a cool video/project/decoration would be a scrapbook of all your previous soap collections that you keep behind you on the shelf and you add a new page for each collection :)
I went on a sailing trip around the Greek islands at the end of last year - it was wonderful! The food's fantastic, the islands are beautiful, the people are friendly and there's cats everywhere 💜 We did get caught in some very extreme storms though which... is absolutely terrifying when you've never been sailing before! 🤣
Yes, I have been to Greece before! 🇬🇷 I lived in Europe for a year right after high-school and traveled around. I visited Santorini and LOVED IT. This soap is something I MUST HAVE
For the question of the day 1. No I haven't been to Greece, BUT I'll be there for the first time at the end of this week!! I'll have to let you know how it was 😊 hehe Also, I love the soap, very fitting for Greece as it matches the flag too.
So I’ve been to Greece twice in my life - both times for my parents wedding anniversary. They went to Crete for their honeymoon, so for their 10th wedding anniversary they took me and my sister, and I have so many incredible memories of being 8 and stargazing with my dad, ‘sneaking’ around to get ready for the pool in the mornings and eating some of the best food. For their 20th we went to Zakinthos (Mum wanted to see somewhere else) and had the most amazing time (again, I have no idea what it is about Greek food in Greece - but it truly doesn’t taste the same anywhere else in the world and it’s not just the place and the fun - I think the oregano is different and they’re hoarding it for good reason) and having almost nightly cocktails at this little cocktail bar call Thomas and Elena. If you’re on the island I highly recommend paying them a visit, they’re truly some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met.
hi katie, if you painted the brackets under the shelves to be the same color as the wall i think that would be soooo aesthetically pleasing to have them blend in. and that neon sign is so cute! ☺️
I'd love to see more glycerin rivers! They kinda look cool, and I remember there was a candle-inspired soap that had intention rivers you made that was really pretty. Also, when I went to Greece the souvenir shop owner gave us a discount because we told her we weren't Americans.
Hope you’ll get to 🇬🇷 , it’s one of the best places in Europe. I recommend visiting the islands to get the true greek vibe , and there’s loads of them in Greece. Look for the hidden 💎 not the overly popular and commercial ones. Hugs from sunny 🇷🇴.
The glycerin rivers in the soap makes me think of the small pieces of pottery you can find on the beach that are blue and white. The ceramic gets that crackle look.
I was actually luckily enough to study abroad for a semester in Greece and it was the most magical time! I would do anything to get to go back and spend a couple months there again. I got to visit so many amazing cities and learn so much history when I was there 💙
I have been to Greece! I went to Corfu when I was living in the UK one summer in university. It was gorgeous, lovely beach, awesome hostel with kind hosts. Great time!
Yes we went on a Mediterranean cruise and visited Greece and Italy. For Greece we visited Athens, Mykonos, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini. Mykonos is a small island town, very chill, sit and eat by the water kinda place. Rhodes is a cool older style island, great shops. Athens has great ruins and sites, Crete has a fun little bay to walk around on. Santorini is definitely more modern, great markets.
Greece seems to be everywhere at the minute. When I saw what your video was called I was hoping for Greece, booked next years holiday two days ago to Greece! 🇬🇷 I can’t wait. The glycerine rivers remind me of the blue and white porcelain dishes.
