- www.motorbeam.com tests the 2017 Pulsar RS 200 which gets minor changes. The updated Pulsar RS 200 is now BS-IV compliant and gets two new colour schemes which make it look less busy. The 2017 Pulsar RS 200 is priced very close to the Dominar 400, it returns a mileage of 35 km/l.
The Pulsar RS 200 competes against the KTM RC 200 and TVS Apache 200 FI.

I own this bike talking about exhaust note its simply outstanding
I own the 2017 BS4 varient of RS200, the only thing i hate about this bike is "4000rpm"!!! Yes even the latest RS vibrates, mostly in 1st and 2nd gear at 4000rpm!!! As it reaches to 5000rpm and above its buttery smooth!! I love the RS over the RC and yeah ABS saved mine's and ofcourse my bike's life many times!! Sometime its hard to take a U-turn (for beginners), untill your are familier with this bike's handeling!
Go for this bike if you want a full fared bike for daily commuter, racing, touring!!!

THE 6th GEAR im planning to buy rs 200 next month.. And is there any problem if i use 150/60 Michelin tyres ? Does it affect the performance?
Aj Aj till 150 you can use bt i dnt think 160 will fit as per the RS swingarm is not that broad! As per performance there are many version of michlin, MRF, metzelers! Better get the more stickier one!!!

I am looking for my first bike- use would be mostly city commuting, with occasional tours upto 200 km.
Confused between NS200, RS200, and the RTR200. Need your suggestion.
Few pointers:
Looking to retain it for long term
Want decent pillion comfort over a long ride (how is the RS compared to other two)
Decent ride and good stability
ABS is must.(atleast single channel)
Can I get NS and RS with MRFs and not Eurogrips ?
What do you suggest wrt their pros & cons?

Hey but dominar doesn't get full fairing which we indian loves
And second dominar is just 1 sec faster than rs 200
N third dominar mileage is 25-28
N rs mileage is 35
N the top speed of dominar is 148 & rs 200's topspeed is 145-148
For college students rs is best choice
Rs is better choice as per me
But dominar is good for touring
It's not about outright acceleration but in-gear too where the Dominar 400 beats the Pulsar RS 200 by a mile.
King Patil Dominar goes upto 163 with the Rev Limiter and 171 without.

Kalpana Devkar R15 looks much more sportier and has true racing DNA as it was built for track bssedv on R1 and R6. That light-weight refined diasil aluminum engine is a feat achieved by no Indian manufacturer till now. And that perfectly tuned light-weight delta-box frame makes R15 a cornering machine. RS 200 - Sports tourer and not made for track. It's a comfortable bike and rider can much more miles in the highway without any strain. So based on your priorities choose your bike wisely.
