    I really enjoyed this video class. The way you share information on composition, balance & values and the fact that it’s your painting do what you want.
    1. It gives you such a sense of creative freedom
    2. Makes painting with watercolors so much fun.
    3. It all makes sense now 😁👍🏻
    Thank you so much! I’m so excited to paint again. You brought that excitement & wonder back that I felt in my high school art class. 😊💕🎉

    I tried jumping into florals using The Mint Gardner's botanical book a few weeks ago. I only started learning watercolor with this subscription box early November. I don't exactly hate my first attempt, but I was SO excited for this tutorial to come out and sure enough, just improved my flower making sooo much by just slowing down and doing these warm ups. I love you so hard Sarah!

    I subscribe to the watercolor boxes, but my colors never look as vibrant as yours and they run all over my butcher’s palate. Are you mixing your colors with water or doing something initially that I should know to do? It is discouraging.

    • @LetsMakeArt
      @LetsMakeArt  4 года назад +1

      The balance of paint and water is the hardest part to learn. Sarah will often mix some water in to lighten her paint but usually just wets her brush and then wipes excess water off on the edge of her cup. She demonstrates this in the Beginner Series. Adding less paint to the tray can help with the running.
