I also at one point in my life had a Turner plus 2 desk mike. It was blue and resembled a desktop paging mike of that era, but was for comm use on hf and cb frequencies. That mike, too, was a great mike.
I also know that back in the early 1990's Midland had a limited production run of commercial vhf and uhf land mobile radios that used a mic connector similar to the five pin locking one that Mower Junkie displayed. They might have used that mic on one of those radios.
Nice Mics. John and should be interesting to hear them on the air. I just sent a Turner 500 to Delta Xray across the pond all great mics. Thanks for sharing always an interesting friend. NY202 Drew
Hi drew haven't seen your channel in a while hope you got over the COVID well with no bad effects ( got that info from delta X-ray) have a good fathers day if it at all applies
You know you have so many friends I don't even have locals to talk to any more used to have about dozen within the antron s range but haven't heard any for almost year plus!!!!! Hope you have good fathers day 🎉🎂🎁 398 Wis ( missed you yesterday and day before so Carolina was rolling in looked for ya will get hook up sooner later
Sweet! This is why we go to hamfests and flea markets. Don't be afraid to run some 400 grit sandpaper across the leaf switch contacts. They're beefy and can handle it. The mike plug on the CS-1 is a Pace radio plug. Five pins. The four pin version is used on the Tram Titans, not sure if it is used on the D-201. The Regency CR-123B used the three-pin plugs too.
Wow 5 bucks each was a steel! John if you can do a video on the Super Sidekick mic I have the same problem with mine, I have tried to use it on my Navaho TRC 490 but no luck
Question- I have a Ranger RCI-2950DX with stock hand mic (I think it’s 6pin). I have a D-104 Astatic lollipop Desk Mic (4 pin) I’d like to hook up to the 2950. D-104 has a place for a 9V battery on the bottom of the base and a switch for digital & something else. Any idea how to wire it up? I have a mic adapter that came with the 2950 with converts it to 4 pin but I hooked it up and nothing. I switched the switch and nothing. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi there sir. I've noticed that there are two versions of the Turner SSK, one has the Turner and the other one got the TURNER on its front plate. Which do you think is older one, the first one or the second one with the whole name capitallized? Thank you sir.
I love the old turner mic’s. I had a sidewinder back in the day and I loved it. Wt5226 Sydney Australia.

That big turner with the tone is a nice score.
Yup, But I might have to build a bigger desk to make room for it.
They look really good & clean. Great deal. He is always hooking up with great CB stuff. Again Great Find. 10-4 good buddy.
If I recall, the CS-1 had a 6 wire cord, which connected easily to various radios, in particular, the E.F. Johnson line-up (124, 124m, 223, etc.).
Good video John

Nice score! Hopefully you can get em all fixed up.
Geez John, you've got all those mics and I can't even find any D104 lollipop mics.

Gave you a 👍 at #36. Old Comms Content at it's finest With The Wizard of the SC Airways.
Thank you so much, 73's
You might have to change the caps in that first one.
I'm thinking the same thing. Thanks for watching, 73's
any of them 4 sale
They don't make them like they used to. A lot of metal there. Post some videos of you talking on them. Great deal.🎤
Thank you Sir! Are any of these items for sale? Triple One in New Orleans Louisiana. Nice video, Mr Mower Junkie.
Sorry these are not for sale. Thanks for watching, Take care.
@@MowerJunkie Thank you Sir!
Those two turners with weird plugs were probably PA system mics
Maybe the contacts are just dirty or sticking after all these years

you should be able to do a Google search to find the correct wiring for that mic.
