Multiple Ride Closures at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom | My 300th Coaster is a Boomerang?!

Join me as I make my first-ever visit to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California, just north of San Francisco. Although this park has a ton going for it, my visit was plagued by breakdowns and closures on their biggest attractions--apparently a reoccuring theme at this park. Have you visited SFDK? This used to be Marine world africa usa and used to be just a zoo with educational animal shows, they also actually used the river for a stunt show with boats and people doing tricks. Then Six flag took over in the late 90ds.

2:16 Yay the dentures are working again! They were broken for a long time! But I know this ride had maintenance done to it recently. Good they fixed that problem

I had my eye on the mechanism that controlled the teeth, doesn’t seem too hard to maintain or fix but regardless that’s good to hear! Loved the joker

Definitely not what it used to be. Recently went and half the rides were down. Power shut off at 6pm. Everyone left the park. Medusa only had one cart going. App said 5 minute wait was actually 2 hours.

Sad to hear because the park itself is beautiful. Also seems like it’s in a good location but they have to figure out their operations issues.
