The use of the 303's at the beginning was funny. In real life those things have the proverbial mules kick .No way would you fire one with the butt pressed into your bicep.

This film reminded me of the movie Victory, with Sylvester Stallone and Pele and many other 80's football legends. It was a film about English POW's in a football match with the Germans. Also a great movie, it's one to watch 2 or three times..
SMLE's that sound like cap guns and eject no brass. 11 to 15 shots and no mag change or charge. Zero recoil on rifle. Poor prop department, but excellent acting.

SS officer with small number of Wehrmacht soldiers to guard? Makes zero sense. No SS will waste their time around US prisoners in this situation. Where were the SS soldiers, his men? I also hate how Germans are portrayed as NPC, mindless and walking with no thought or being station in open spots to be killed easily it’s so stupid in movies like this one. Not all knew English too and like it or not they are human and should be given a personality, not all was a baddie after all
I am really embarrassed that two British soldiers and the sqaddies who needlessly died before them were so inept. It is virtually impossible for me to imagine that they could’ve been collectively so clueless. But then I think it’s an inept and clueless film. Confirmed when I see the clouds skimming along behind the moon, not across its face. Pathetic.
Sorry but what were you expecting from soldiers that were recruited during WW2. They were not regulars who had had time to be trained and had probably seen action
What a xxxx movie, it is an insult to the real POW who endured incredible suffering during WW2. I am sure High School students can make a better movie.
