Deep Sentinel is an active monitoring home security system with a secret -- behind that lens is a staff of highly trained security guards ready to jump in and speak through your cameras. If they spot a suspicious character lurking around your door, they'll speak up. But sometimes, they mistake the homeowners for someone else. (At least in our experience)

Expensive! I get you have someone monitoring the live feed(s) but for a TWO camera system you are looking at $1800 a year? The BIGGEST concern here is with the WiFi cameras - PAYING this much a year for a camera{s} that be EASILY jammed with components you can buy right off websites is NOT worth it to me! Even a POE camera setup is a HARD sell for your "average" homeowner! Unless you have a really successful thriving business I see this as a hard sell as well! Other systems off a similar experience but are ALSO expensive. Definitely NOT for everyone!

I purchased 1 camera for the front porch. WiFi signal is good. I was going to purchase another camera for the garage , but now I'm not too sure? You are right, you need a great WiFi signal
You could probably still grab that second one for the garage, but if it's far enough away, that camera's going to have to work pretty hard (which makes image quality and battery life suffer a bit)
It's all a out hub placement. I have 4 wireless cams on the corners a 2100sq single story home. I have 3 to 4 bars of signal on each cam, just make sure your hub is equally located between the 2 cams. If your router can be near the hub, get a TP Link Powerline Nano, that will help you get internet to your hubs location without moving your router.
Nice Review, showing the positive side of Deep Sentinel, however in your Con's review, I have to stand up for DS.
For you having a security topic RUclips channel, I'm surprised to see a couple novice errors in your video, which unfairly added to your opinion of DS Con's...
I have been a Deep Sentinel subscriber for 3 years now, and the price is worth the peace of mind. And I too, have the wireless cams. The DS website has a very clear instruction section, which I feel has been over looked by your review.
You mentioned the system doesn't offer "No User-Controlled Recording" - this is FALSE. If you click in the camera itself, it will record a user initiated clip for the entire duration of you are viewing that clip. The clip will then be stored in your Non-Verified section of your History Tab. Therefore, there are User Controlled clips. ALSO, the cameras are constantly recording other clips that are saved in Non-Verified, I have plenty clips of cats, skunks, vehicles. Since the clip wasn't a human, the are stored in the Non-Verified section for you to view.
You mentioned despite your great internet connection, wifi extenders and fiber speed, that the cameras lack connectivity.. I disagree.
First off the cameras report to the DS Hub, not your internet! Second, you have the hub right next to your internet router. Thats a big no-no for any internet device that broadcasts data, you should have internet devices 3ft apart! That poor DS hub is just getting blasted over by your router broadcasting it's Wi-Fi...
Since the cameras report to the hub, the hub needs to be "centrally" located between all your cams. I have a feeling your hub is probably in the front of the house, catering to your front cam while the rear cams are struggling to connect, waisting battery and quality of connection. It doesn't matter about your internet, it matters about your hub placement.. My hub is centrally located by using a Nano to bring hardwired internet to my centrally located hub.
Also your camera views are all too high, causing a lack of AI response, if you were to use the DS placement guide, DS would of shown you how to angle your cams for best coverage and AI response.
Everything I've learned is from the Deep Sentinel forum in the FAQ section, and following the help sections, my system perfectly tuned and I have no issues with coverage and signal strength.
I applaud your video showing the potential of Deep Sentinel, however I feel you haven't had the system long enough to find out how to truly to set up and utilize ALL the features their equipment offer...
