Wow that’s really an step back. I hope that for examples the apps are being improved. For example we are using the web app for confluence pages. In the confluence app the the user opens a browser when ehe click one link inside of confluence.
With the web app the user stayed inside of confluence and he didn’t need to leave the teams Client to read confluence pages.

Unusual short warning, but the communication related to this change has been excellent so far 👌

Could really use some help with this. Is this still a planned modification? We utilize the Website app on a large scale to link a SharePoint webpage and we love being able to access this directly inside teams. We were under the impression this would not be accessible after July but we're still able to use it now in August. Is it still working because the specific website we're using (SharePoint) is a Microsoft platform? Or will this still no longer open in the Teams app eventually?

Will this impact Sharepoint sites in tabs as well or are those considered “apps”? It would be helpful if the site navigation for SP pages was also available. It’s always been annoying that it gets stripped out when rendered in a tab.

That comes on how the SharePoint sites are exposed. If they are exposed using the Website app app - they are impacted.
