I used to work at a coffee/ice cream shop, and one day a French-speaking woman came in and was attempting to order in English. She was clearly struggling to speak in a tongue that was not native to her. I had been to France for like 2 weeks not too long before that and so I thought I'd try to help out, but I think I honestly knew less French than she did English, so I piped up and said, "Parlez-vous Francais?" She looked visibly relieved at the fact that I could 'speak French,' and she said that yes she did speak French, and I responded with, "I don't."

Fun Prince fact. My mom’s friend worked for Prince and was “on call” for whenever Prince had inspiration to write music. He had a pager and would be paged any hour of the night to come over and work on writing songs with Prince.

Just wanted to comment a random story I thought y’all’d appreciate.
I was in the chick fil a drive through and the manager comes out after my order was taken and asks the guy who took my order “hey, you doing ok, have any questions?” (Assuming he was new at this point) and he just replies so nonchalantly “nope, doing good. This really Isn’t that hard.”
Just a classic fast food employee response. 😂

I just love how you are Rosie's world right now! As a mom of two teenagers, I definitely miss that part of toddler-hood the most. Every stage of parenting is special, but my kids definitely don't light up at my presence like they used to (it's the opposite now). 😉 Enjoy those moments!

Important question for Rachel: Where do you buy your grapes? It’s not always easy to find quality, crisp, green grapes and Id love to know where to look.
Okay for real lately Target has had the BEST green grapes! We keep buying them and they keep being amazing.

Lil rant here that hasn’t been mentioned in to long and it is really grinding the ol gears.
I moved from SoCal to Frisco 3 weeks ago, and since, I have had 3, yes 3 different individuals treat me so kind and nice, only to find out I just gave my phone number to a man that will endlessly try to get me to join him in his MLM crusade.
All 3 have the same parallels
“I met a nice married couple”
“They were in there 30’s”
“I wanted to break the 9-5”
“They really have mentored me”
“They were able to retire by 35”
Anytime you ask “what is the day to day tasks”
They never have an answer.
They will seek you out in public, 2 of which gave me compliments about my attire, one at the gym, engaged in conversation about my AirPods and how he was afraid if he got a pair they wouldn’t stay in his ears, so I gave him mine to try on the basketball court briefly, only to find out….he was just scheming the ol Midwest MLM Nice.
