Love the COE Parks, Merry Christmas and safe travels.
Merry Christmas to you and your family too. 🤗🤗💞💞
You Folks are living our dream. We’re 10 years off from retiring yet but when We do, the way to do it is the way you folks are doing it. When I was younger I spent 8 yrs trucking all over America and Canada. So many marked exits for attractions I sadly passed up due to staying on schedule and/or not confident to get off the highway with a stretched tractor and a 53 ft flatbed conestoga. Our plan is to spend 1-1/2 years traveling this great country of ours such as going out the Northern route and coming back the southern route or? Heck! Who knows. It depends on what time of the year it is always. Making friends with other couples in our travels and stopping to see friends and family spread out across this country is really the way I want to unwind when we leave our high stress careers behind. Nothing could be better than leisurely traveling at our own pace within the best country on Earth. My hat is off to you folks and you all seem like a lot of fun. I’m sure making new acquaintances comes easy to you all. Stay safe.
Regards,
The Appelgren’s (IL/WI border)

Merry Christmas to you 🤗
At least your husband is onboard with. My husband always thought I was nuts to want to do it. Enjoy yourself while you still can. Relax and enjoy.
I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe y'all can do it part time. He might catch the camping fever. 😁 🤗
I do short trips without my husband.
Nice park! I’ll be stopping there
Love the opening with the camp fire.
Hey y'all, go see the Christmas lights in Johnson City. They are spectacular!
Where is that ?

Easiest way: from Potter's Creek Road, left (west) on FM 306 for 12 miles then right (north) on US 281 19 miles. Turn left on Main Street to get downtown.
To cut a corner and get there faster: left on FM 306, only 350 ft, right on FM 484 for 2.5 miles to Fischer, left on FM 32/ RM 32 for 11 miles, right on US 281 for 15 miles. Left on Main street.
You will never forget the lights!
There is also Hill Country Kitchen which says they have the world's best chicken fried steak, which might be right. Dixie Mart is a gas station that has fantastic Mexican pastries to go.
You guys have such a wonderful lifestyle, I’m so jealous. God speed and Merry Christmas 🎁
Thank you, personally I wish we had done this earlier in our life. 😁
It’s a lot more exhausting than it looks don’t anybody think it’s not because I’ve done it
Well you definitely have to know what your doing and you have to have the right setup for yourself. Even living in a house is work. Just saying. 😁 You are the only one that can make that decision. We like having a pull behind so we can drop the camper and go explore in the truck.
A 5th wheel is harder but, the same as a pull behind.
With a Class C you can pull a car behind and it's like driving a van. A Class A is like drive a bus and you can also pull a car behind it.
No if you really want easy you can go with a van.
Such a nice spot ❤
Where is canyon lake?
Texas sweetie. 😁
