Where can you get the new app.? I have updated the machine.
Like how do I get it added on the control panel
Can you adjust the amount of tabs you place on a shape. Something that size would only need 2 for instance.
No, at the moment the tab spacing is fully automated. For this release, each tab is spaced at 20mm intervals. Each tab is a 3D profile with widths of 10mm between tool centres (so a width of 10mm minus the diameter of the tool). We have taken this approach to minimise workholding failure.
Tabs definition is a a really interesting question - we want to make everything as automated as possible to reduce complexity, so if you have any ideas on what you would like to see, please let us know and we will try to build it in to future releases! As a heads, up we will be optimising soon with an option for SmartBench to do a final pass to remove most of the tabs after the majority of the material removal has been completed.
@YetiToolLtd 20mm intervals!! Really? So every 20mm you have to deal with a tab? Sorry, am I reading this correctly? That's a real pain if that's the case.
