What a total joy to watch. I grinned the whole way through. Two petrol heads enjoying a proper raw car. Looked hard work but immensely satisfying. Just loved the way you both looked amazed and laughed after each blast of acceleration like it was the first time you’d experienced it, every time! I remember the first time I saw an Ultima GTR...I was behind it on a dual carriageway - the guy was on cold tyres and went for an overtake but lost the back end as he pulled into the outside lane, smashed the car up and ended in a ditch on the near side of the carriageway...I stopped in the road and watched as one of the fat rear wheels rolled down the carriageway and stopped on my front bumper. What an epic and scary car, brilliantly captured with some great footage and brilliant production! Thank you!

We ran a Chevy GTR in the British GT's in the mid '90s with Jimmy Brady racing. What a brutal piece of kit it was, nothing could touch it for out and out speed. Lee Noble lives locally and I used to machine parts for Ted at Ultima and then for Noble cars. Cracking video.

I,m glad at least someone is giving this amazing car its due recognition because it is generally ignored elsewhere.Remember the Ultima was the quickest fully road legal car round the Top Gear(Dunsfold)test track & they had to hire it privately asTG did not want to know! I don't think they would have liked a car, which is still seen by many as being built in a shed in Leics, to be kicking the collective butts of supercars costing 10+ times as much & it is far better looking than most of them as well! I believe the later RS model is even better.
