Oh boy it's been a while. Hello all. No I haven't stopped animating, I've just been dealing with life for a while. It's a miracle I finally finish this because I've been working on this through one of the toughest times in my life. But, that said, I'm glad it's done and I can move on.
So, I still want to upload an animation at least once a month, and now that I can work full time that's actually possible. I'm really excited, sheesh. It's been a dream of mine for years.

I really liked that in the end of the battle when the leader raptor looked at the dead triceratops and his/her baby it was like it said "Sorry kid we were just protecting our families. It was the only way" that felt so touching and kind of respective to me!!!

it was amazing and you executed the emotions of wanting revenge, rage, sympathy. I can't belive you managed to make the 'clear villain' more empathetic the the herbivorous 'main characters' since as the end the raptor who i presume is the leader gave a look to the young triceratops as if to notion that he was going through the same grief and possibly had before by seeing so many friends and young be slaughtered in combat.truly amazing animation to explain emotions without a single word!
honestly i don't think there was a ''villain'' nor main character in the animation, it's just nature both animals needed to protect their families,they needed to survive
@@raptormage2209 I agree with both you and Neil Morris, though. I love how sympathetic the carnivores were compared to the herbavores, it made them seem more than "monsters" however, I dont think there was really a main character or a villan.
My only issue its i think the trike skin would not be to easy to actualy be punctured by archeoraptor atacks
Who says the mom is dead? She is probably weak from blood loss, its obvious those raptors werent able to puncture anything vital, but they are able to cause her to bleed enough for her to collapse so they could get her off their backs and they could go back to living their lives

I would say RK has been astronomically great, even with her (I am pretty sure RK is a girl) first animation, since RK did it at a young age.

tiny raptors killing a triceratops is like 5 coyotes killing a fully grown male bush elephant….. the fight is ridiculous and it goes too far being unrealistic like you can make ur fights unrealistic but this is going too much

Wow, I've seen snips and bits of the WIP, but to see this all come together and finished is amazing. Also your animation has improved in folds. I love the little character moments you have with the raptors and the triceratops. Amazing job! And congrats on the full time!

This was was such an intense story to watch unfold, and I have to say you are a god among animators, storytellers, artists, and character designers! I'm not going try and repeat any of the praise that has already been left here, but I am obsessed with your work. I loved each and every design, and how each character had so much personality. I fell in love with your little world for 6 and a half minutes. I could watch these characters for years, probably!!

You improved so much, from the movement difference of each dino species to the detail of the background! Even the storyline was more fun and creative than before (the end sunk my heart a bit after the herbs lost). But oh my, EEE I LOVE HOW YOU ANIMATE YOUR RAPTORS ITS SO REALISTICCCCC!!!
And us fans won't mind how long we wait. Take your time, animation master! I'm sorry for how life can slam down time as easily as a microraptor can run. But you did so well on this!
I mean, I wanna go on and on about how much you inspire me and others but I think I would reach beyond the character limit.

You know I kind of thought of an idea of a sequel for this one of the baby trike maybe older the next time we see it going against a Dakotaraptor an animal that would probably be crazy enough to try to take down a juvenile trike

What I like about this particular episode more than the rest is how it’s the prey that dictates the term of the fight to the hunters. That’s a really cleaver and fun twist that plays nicely with the scale of the (compared to Trike) tiny Acheroraptors.

The ending of when the baby was watching his/her mother die was so sad, it reminded me of those idiotic hunters who kill rhinos for their horns...
Piano's used to be made with ivory.
You just find it so well, emotional deeply.
(Basically a deep summary in my view in comming) so, as the triceratops are traveling, these two raptors notice them near their den, worried that they are going to attack, so they follow to make sure. The baby notices, and the raptors needed to move the baby out of the way, the baby manages to push them off. They notice that they must go back to the den, as in the mother found their den, thinking that they would attack her baby and decides to get rid of them for safety. One of the raptors from doing something jumps in spreading his arms? Wings? Front limbs??? in order to show protecting. As the battle goes on yada yada yada the other raptor and the baby look at each other, like if they are both scared and don’t know what’s going on, the raptor didn’t attack the baby, DID IT MEAN THAT IT TRUSTED IT A LITTLE? And another part after, the raptor goes into attack for that THERES barely anyone else to help. The baby pulls this raptor showing that it might get killed, the raptor cover reacts and attacks, as the mother picks the raptor up and yeets it, (can’t remember) epic last moment, all the raptors fled, the leader looked back, like if he was guilty or feeling sorry. In my mind, the future of them, that baby triceratops will have a trust with these acheroraptors cause, the raptors didnt attack the baby much, (even know that wasn’t the problem) the other raptor had the chance when watching, kill the baby, well, maybe for food because it’s not heavier than that giant adult mother. But once you think in the end, you realize how cruel the world must had been for dinosaurs, mindless, barely any peace.

The sounds are fitting perfectly to the animation, designs of characters are really good. Backgrounds are amazing too!
The best thing here is that there are no good and bad guys like in many cartoons... both species are fighting to survive and protect their children.

I love how much effort you put into this Flash Arena, I also love how you made the dinosaurs more up to date!
At 3:25 in this animation, the raptor realizes he has to fight the baby trike to make it look real enough that he is on his own packs side. It's almost like the trike looked at the raptor and said "who's side are you on?" And towards the end he ends up almost killing the small trike, and had already killed the guardian.
i like to think that he chased the baby trike at first to distract the guardian from trampling/ramming all the other raptors

It probably didn’t die, it was just incapacitated
He lost too much blood as we can see in the end of the fight , when the raptors discovered the soft part under her neck, they charged at it so it gets incapacitated to fight because she is bleeding and weak, then she will die from the same bleed
Dromaeosaurs aren’t pack hunters, and even if they were they would retreat if faced with a Triceratops, so the video wasn’t accurate in the first place
Acheroraptors were the clear winners regardless of whether or not the trike died
It was anemic from blood loss plus it was a neck wound so its even worse for it
The blood moves so fluidly and so realistically!! It’s so amazing!!

I did not expect the Raptors to be in the right. It was a nice twist tho. And I really found it cute that up into the end the one Beige Acheoraptor abd baby Ceratopsian were kinda just spectating together like the little newbs they are.

This may not be true, but I thought triceratops, fully grown ones of course, had thick and tough skin. The small raptors, they seem like they wouldn’t win to me. small sharp teeth could leave a cut, bite mark, or something without blood on one of those creatures.
I’m not trying to bash you, it was a great animation. I would support if I could. :)
a small suggestion but i think the reason the bite got so bad is because multiple raptors started tearing at the bite wound on the neck- the other injuries were minor but they probably got into the skin enough on the neck to nick a major artery

MorningOwl A bit late but, one of the raptors actually did nothing even though it did bite into the trike’s neck! It was semi realistic in a sense, and I think it was only when the raptors all started tearing at its neck together did they open a wound

Raptors can’t hurt a trike skin there skin is thick so raptors can’t even hurt trikes

I Love you work, I really do. I can live scientific accuracy being throw out the window, and I'm sure if you done this the video would be a lot less interesting, but all the triceratops would have to do is roll over a few times or just brush its back against a mound (I guess brush? Maybe rub against a mound). I'm sure it would have been smart enough to do so.
But I just absolutely adore your work. Your videos inspired me to start animating for a short while (the animations failed miserably). I normally hate being this kind of person, but I can't stress enough how much I love your work.
Edit: I was really nervous and, not gonna lie, was expecting hate for this.

Are you sure you are not the Jesus of dinosaur animations? I'm just speechless....... this was truly incredible. I am also very very very happy that the Acheroraptor won!!! Finally, an underdog theropod in Hell Creek won!!! I am a Rex fan, and while I do enjoy seeing T-Rex win a lot, I like to see some underdogs you wouldn't expect to win take victory. Keep up the incredible work! :)

Realistic. Not really, archeoraptor were to small. While we dont know if they were pack hunters, if they were, they would definitely not be hunting fully grown triceratops.
P.S if these were Dakotaraptor, i would let the outcome of this animation slide

I like how the baby triceratops stops the Acheroraptor from going into the battle, so he/she isn’t killed

Dragon Brand she already did something similar: FA 5 was about a fight between a Stygimoloch and a Megaraptor (closely related to Pachycephalosaurus and Velociraptor respectively).
@@islaydragonz7267 nope, megaraptor wasn’t a dromaeosaur - and also, Pachy didn’t live with either Velo or Megaraptor. Also, to both of you, Pachycephalosaurus would absolutely DEMOLISH a velociraptor. You do understand Velociraptor is the size of a medium dog, right? And Pachy is as tall as a human.
I love how the tan-ish raptor and the baby trike are just watching at some point, kinda saying:
"dude what’s going on?"

I feel like there should be a second video of this , were the baby trike grows up angry and hateful to the raptor pack and comes back for revenge! and they have a scar's from being bitten and scratched by one of the raptors!!! I would LOVE if Rapotkil saw this , even if it doesn't come true
the poor baby trike survives (dont ask how XD) alone to fend for them self , and when they come back the the Raptors seeing the same scar's there causous and slightly frightened by the once baby trike's presence , knowing it the trike as an adult And this time the trike has a greater chance of victory since there mother killed some off raptor(s) and injuring most, and having to survive at such a young age though the raptors seem to have experienced with trike attacks and babys growing adding more to the pack not as experienced as there parents tho. leave your thoughts about this and other theories about this video lovely made by Raptorkil!

Without protection or it's mother, the baby has about 50% or 40% to be killed and eaten alive.
The Triceratops is still alive. You can see the happy face of the baby Triceratops at the end.

I love it! While there are some small inaccuracies here an there, I wouldn’t count that against the quality of this animation. I am trying do dinosaur animation myself and this video is a good inspiration.
This is like watching 10 house cats kill a Rhinoceros. They shouldn't have even been able to pierce the skin in the first place, let alone reach any kind of artery.
Appalachiosaurus22 Except they are raptors, and they have hooked claws and serrated teeth. If you attack they same wound more than once it gets worse and deeper. If the wound is above a major artery, eventually they’d reach the artery and the victim would bleed to death. Also, its not comparable to mammals, as they are dinosaurs.
Triceratops skin was up to 12cm thick based on fossil evidence. While no sickle claws of Acheroraptor have been found, the similar sized Velociraptor had one about 6.5cm long. The math is simple, a scratch from a dinosaur so tiny wouldn't even draw blood.
Appalachiosaurus22 they were actually alot bigger and the animator sized how big they were down. They could in fact take down a triceratops, since the claws can pierce thick skin despite how big it is

My new favorite video of yours. Just the massive size difference between them made it more compelling to me. Tons vs ounces in weights. As I don't even know if those little carnivores weight a pound. Pure desire to survive is all this battle was and very realistic to me in that sense
