What I love about Seth videos is he encourages you not to be afraid unlike the other videos telling you not to tell locals where your from that just makes idahoians lol look horrible so thank you Seth
We made 70k last year. We live comfortably. We share a paid for car. My husband walks to work. We live in an apartment, not house. We don't have kids. It'd be really tight with kids. A lot those "unemployed" might be the single mothers that run unlicensed daycares in their homes or babysit and bring their kids with them to the jobs. There's a lot of that here. When I moved here and married my husband, I didn't have my driver's license and I took the bus, walked and rode my bike a lot. It worked because my husband could pick me up and drop me off some. Also, he helped with groceries on the weekend. Though, I did grocery shop on my the bike or on foot some. I would wear an empty backpack or tug an empty wagon to the grocery store. Then when I left they'd be full of groceries. We lived off Prairie trail by the Kroc center when I moved here so the trails are plowed fully even when the roads aren't and I was able to ride my bike down to Centennial trail and downtown to work at the time. My husband would pick me and the bike up. Now we live off 95. It hasn't actually been that bad this year. I grew up outside of Buffalo. The roads are here are pretty poorly plowed. If I didn't drive an SUV with studded tires, I wouldn't be able to get out of my neighborhood. This past winter it was below freezing for like a week. Leftists should not move here. They might be fooled by the leftist culture with North Idaho College and downtown, but 83814 is the only zip code for leftism. 83815 and non-CDA you will see Trump flags and conservative stickers on trucks a LOT.
Seth, your videos are awesome. Almost too awesome. I was in CDA this past week, (visiting from CA) and I didn't hit you up, (yet) because you've answered pretty much every question I'd need to ask. McEuen Park was gorgeous and the shops and restaurants there were great. We hit Mineral Ridge for an awesome hike then went to the Shoshone Public Range and put a few hundred rounds down range. Also hit North Idaho Arms, (the owner is awesome) and then the County Fair. There is sooo much to do there! Asked around and heard real estate might be better priced in Bonner County but we're definitely looking. We're looking to move in the next year or so and you'll be our first call when we know for sure. Keep up the GREAT work!!
My father in-law has property near by. I went to visit an I was surprised how busy it was. I also think I hit every roundabout u guys have. Feels like I hit maybe 20 of them. Also my verizon cell phone had no service anywhere. Kinda frustrating when ur trying to find places.
@thenorthidahoexperience ya maybe something was up with them. The waitress at a restaurant said she didn't have signal. Yes I feel like 98% of people can't drive them. A beautiful area tho. If it wasn't so expensive it's definitely a place I could move to.
Im down in McEuen Park almost every Saturday and Sunday morning and typically see 1 to 3 homeless/vagrants under the main pavilion. Hell yesterday they had the pavilion roped off for a reserved event and there was still one there until the event host told him to leave.
@@northidahoexperience I doubt we will ever see anything like tents there but they are around the area, wife got sketched out by one that walked by her on E Front Ave but thankfully my malinois was with her
They can keep the sensitive crap in Washington…… you also don’t see people 💩 in the middle of the sidewalks. We need a podcast on the new rules that have been passed, how you are handling it… love these videos…. Can’t wait to move to Idaho. Keep it 🇺🇸
Great info. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks! 90% of the people you meet are from somewhere else…
Definitely a beautiful place and informative video. 🇺🇸
Thank you very much!
Great video, love your enthusiasm, great information I retired here 6 years ago, always learning more about the area by watching your videos 😁👍🏻
Awesome! Thank you!

You pretty much nailed it.
Coeur D Alene looks really nice.
It is!

Lol wait until winter. Lol another fool from Cali. 😅

Interesting. Verizon works pretty well for me up here. And roundabouts are annoying because most people don’t use them well

Well, I'm sold!! Back the Uhaul up, let's go...
It's that easy...
CDA was cool back in the 70s
I bet it was! It's still cool in my opinion.
You do the cold plunge and I will watch! LOL🥶
Let's gooooo
What's Sandpoint about?
It’s great- I’ve done a few videos about it. Check in the categories section to find them

Are you talking about the NAR rules?
@@northidahoexperience Yes, it would be great to have a video on NAR and how it affects Idaho. How your team will deal with it.
How active are the...pointy white hooded folks
Not at all.
They wear red hats mostly.
