I will say that (weirdly) one of the things I’m most hoping that they elaborate on in season 3 is what Francie Fak did to make Sugar hate her so much 😂

I'm not sure if sydney is in a great position to be able to trust carmy, that's the problem. As someone who has been working in the restaurant business for almost a decade you have to communicate, and being communicative is a skill that Carmy just does not uphold, even when Sydney slighted him with the "Running these by Clarie?" was a way to communicate that clearly you don't trust me enough, so you ask someone whos not a cook? I just think it's deeper for Sydney and perceiving her as just an impatience handful, when it was cleary displayed in her ep that she has major anxiety issues. Most people gave grace to Carmy, Richie, Tina, Marcus even Ebra for not upholding a standard, while Sydney bears the brunt of the chaos. She's a loving and very kind character, I know we'll get more of her next season and hopefully into more of her personal life because It'll only add so much to the show!

man oh man... seasons 1 and (especially) 2 are so unbelievably, transcendentally good that i'm really praying they don't f*ck up season 3.

Episode 7 was filmed at a real Chicago restaurant called Ever. The actual restaurant is really high end, but it's only a two Michelin star restaurant (which is still extremely elite), and as far as I know, it has never actually been ranked as the world's best restaurant. At least one of the front of house people seen in the episode is an actual employee of the real restaurant (she's in the staff portrait on the restaurant's website).

I will be really disappointed if this show ever tries to make Sydney & Carmen have a romantic relationship…they’re definitely already in a creative/artistic/intellectual/business relationship…kind of like band members…& Claire could be seen by Sydney as being the threat of “Yoko Ono breaking up The Beatles” (if we believe the sexist/racist narrative propagated by many Beatles fans over the decades)…Carm running decisions by Claire is just another in the things like him not consulting her when he decided they had to knock down a wall, after the other restauranteurs she consulted with already put doubts in her head with the stories of their experiences with shady business partners

    I think it's a Blues Brothers reference.

Love your reactions! I watched one of your older the bear reactions and wondered when you would post again.
