Yt is not the same without ashley's regular uploads but in order to grow sometimes you need to pay the price and for her it was her safety and peace of mind that she lost when her channel grew. I am just happy to see her again doing things she loves ❤️❤️❤️ more projects and growth for you ashley 😘
I’m so happy that Tommy got Ashley to host this and gave her a platform to share her love for upcycling/sustainability/vintage! I miss her videos so much 🥺 But hope she’s happier now
I love this! The shorts turned out great. And i also love it that Tommy Hilfiger decided to have Ashley as their host for this. I missed her, and this thing is one of those that she enjoys. I'd love to see more!
Words cannot describe how happy it made me to finally see Ashley in a RUclips video again after literal years of her not posting anything, I low key started crying lmao 😭 Wait DID SHE SAY SHE'LL SEE US AGAIN IN THE NEXT WORKSHOP?!?!
I'm telling you majority of these people who nitpick on her never care about sustainability, it wasnt untill one of those "problematic" videos was made on her that they just joined the clout and overlooked years of her impact and conversations around sustainability and choose to join some coward who cant even reveal their voice and face while leaking Ashley's last name. These are the negative people who will try very very hard to outweigh the negativity over positives. And thats why ashley is never coming back to yt.
people know that faux leather and synthetic fur is even WORSE for the environment right!? she always been transparent about where her clothes come from and has even talked abt this topic on her channel manny times! if she has a real fur item its always thrifted!!
Not sure if it's always thrifted, she has two saks potts coat and in one of her ig post she tags the brand :) I used to love her fashion videos and she used to sensibilize people about sustainability so that's fine but it's harder to see her support this kind of brand (among others) and practise, as real fur production is cruel but also unnecessary
People here be preaching about being sustainable and such, newsflash, consuming internet isn’t sustainable either. You guys talk as if you live SUSTAINABLY 100%. Gtfo. Practice what you preach people, before coming here and nitpick everything this girl is doing.
I wish you could have collaborated with one of the many influencers who are genuinely supportive of sustainability. Ashley/best dressed is not...still buying brand new fox fur coats, working for and with Amazon fashion, princess polly, the list goes on and on.
Her coat was "faux" not fox. Prada went fur free in 2020. Please get your vocabulary and facts right. And the Amazon video was 2 years ago which was deleted 6 months later And we stan women learning from their mistakes and growing Thankyou.
@@YayaSlurp It could be thrifted, I dont know. But she eats animals, how is that different than wearing them ? The point is, I am from a country where is almost no conversation around thrifting and sustainability and I came across the concepts because of her and I am grateful to her for that. Nobody can be a 100% sustainable or ethical. Not me not you not her.
TMW you don't know whether to play on x1.5 speed because of Nichole or x0.75 speed because of Ashley 😂 Side note to anyone who critiques our gal for not being sustainable enough for their liking - fix yourself first (lil secret - not even possible at this point if part of modern society), then point a finger at huge companies and industries as a whole who do the actual damage, or governments who allow it all to happen. Trying to single out one person for some specific choices, is one of the most hypocritical, illogical, futile, virtue-singnaling, toxic things you can do.
@Rosa Permanente She eats animals, how is that different than wearing them? I have been vegetarian my whole life, so I see no difference between killing animals for food or clothes. All I see is killing. The point is, I am from a country where is almost no conversation around thrifting and sustainability and I came across the concepts because of her and I am grateful to her for that. To me starting a conversation and making an effort to try and be sustainable creates more impact. Tommy as a brand was never sustainable until now when its trying to be. But you will see more people pointing fingers at ashley rather than the brand. Also just because she is from fashion industry people hang her "non sustainable" clothes over her head like she has broken a law. While forgetting that sustainability is a lifestyle and not just clothes. She never said she is a 100% sustainable person. She just tries to be. That is more than you and me and the people hiding behind the comments do. Peace out.
@@hater8181 Hardly anything is. Eating animals isnt. Using plastic isnt. Fast fashion isnt. Driving personal vehicles isnt. Even veganism is divided. Many menstrual products arent. Paper isnt. How about we start calling out people on everything without making any changes in our personal lives and hiding behind comments yeah ? Cause thats easier than being sustainable.

Dude her entire brand is based of thrifting- she’s not as horrible as you are making her sound

In her recent instagram post she does wear real fox fur (look at the tag on the furry sage coat)

Ashley talking about sustainability when on Instagram she's posing in real brand new fur... Talk about hipocrisy, miss Ashley.
