Nice video, Taylor! Winter is always a bit of a pain, but the clear blue skies are very nice! I think you are right that the calves like their noses to be held while they have a bottle ! It must make them think of their mother!! They like your company! 😀
You had snow, down here near the coast it changed to freezing rain . Trees, branches, telephone poles and wires down, we haven’t had power since Saturday night. My generator wasn’t making electricity, and I couldn’t find a new generator anywhere. Monday morning my electrician came and let me borrow one of his that ran the whole house. Thank goodness for hot showers, I sure hope they’re in heaven when my time comes. You and Brent take awesome care of your cows and calves.
Tell Brent he very good with the skid steer. He definitely knows the tricks of running them. He seems to be an all around handy guy and has great peacefulness about him. Definitely a strong man and one very lucky guy to have you to work with
Top of the morning to you, Always remember don’t ever forget April is a winter month. ( Kevin Mannix WCSH) Welcome to Maine , the way life should be, but don’t tell anyone. I’m sure Brent is used to you talking to yourself. Spring snow, poor man’s fertilizer. 😂😂😂 Down came a black bird ( Lila McCann)
Good morning Taylor. First of all you always look great- no makeup needed and your ideas are never boring. Here in Wisconsin we are expecting 4 - 8 inches of snow followed by an inch of rain. When I watch the National forecast and their predictions are always more precipitation for Maine I’ m thinking Taylor is going to get some more snow again. Hope this next batch of snow isn’t that bad for you. I seen that cemetery many times in your videos and was thinking that is a place people are dying to get into.(lol) . Keep smiling, keep farming, and stay positive. 🐄🚜🌽😉
Wow...winter's not done with yall quite yet!! I hope this is the last of the winter weather for yall! Thank you for explaining your farm adventure in terms that I can understand. The calves are just too cute! Stay safe, dry & warm!
It’s fun playing in the snow lol we farm in northern Michigans snow belt where you can get 2-3 even 4 feet overnight sometimes and seems like the whole month of February it can be 20-30 below zero
Thanks Tay! As always, enjoyed hangin' out with you. Your discussion about the cows, calves & udders was pretty interesting. You don't get that kind of info on most farm videos. I enjoyed your video greatly! 🤠🐄🐮
Taylor, holding your hand on the calves nose is mimicing the rutting instinct, and yes the warmth of your hand on the .sensitive nose mimics the cows udder.thanks for your videos
Hope you are doing ok with the snow, we are getting a good pile of snow right now. Calves are cute, I do miss the calves and feeding them but not the bending for milking. Hope you all stay safe and healthy Tay.
Good afternoon tay we are suppose to get 12 to 16 inches of here today in Minnesota yuck your doing a wonderful job i really love all them calfs if i was closer i would of got all of them i enjoy watching you thank you for what you do happy Sunday
Hi Taylor thanks for sharing another great video, what atrocious weather to work in makes everything harder and takes longer You both do a excellent job with the cow's under difficult circumstances. Hope you get your electric back on at home 🏡 take care and stay safe and warm 😊.
Good Sunday morning Taylor and Brent yes winter back love you’re video just finished watching it and you looking awesome and how patient when you’re feeding baby calf and as always you and Brent be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I saw you all were going to get snow bombeb a couple times. I'm in Sw Indiana it has been cold below freezing but no snow' I have had to mow myyard twice. Warm weather coming the end of this week. God bless you to come through the blizzard.
Wow, work ethic, determination, attitude, grit. I'll bet your lovely boss Brent appreciates such a committed dedicated worker. Without doubt the cows love seeing you, they know they are being well cared for. Thanks MARK uk
We got 12" with 3" of sleet on top. Maine Maple Sunday was a bit of a mess, Saturday obviously was lost, but at least the sun came out for Sunday. Snow + mud, not awesome.
That sleet makes everything a mess, hope things went well for you. Safe to say maple weekend was a bust this year, I think most people spent Sunday cleaning up snow! Late winter storms are the worst!!
Winter hit hard this past weekend, not bad where I’m from we got rain and it depends where you are at here on our farm we got 1.7 inches of rain which is not bad but other areas got close to 3 inches of rain but the wind is crazy. Here in Delaware it’s cold but not as cold as you guys are in Maine Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Always are good videos Taylor, like that on all farms in winter, usually all day doing chores. We are on the downhill slide to spring. We are getting rain snow mix in Ia today. Sat the 24th. Take care. Stan.
Absolutely Taylor. I’m right here in Franklin county not far from you lol. I grew up with horses mostly Belgians and worked years for friends of mine on his family farm (Sandy River Farm) in Farmington. I will continue to be a dedicated viewer of small farms such as you guys here in Maine
Hi Taylor, where has all the snow come from? A tricky drive to work with trees on the road, your lucky they weren't any bigger. The calves look great but it's a pity they are both boys. May you need to put a 1 or 2 on the bails of hay so you don't have to guess what they are when you use them. Stay warm and I hope the snow misses you. Chris from Australia 🇦🇺.
Thanks for another great video, March leaving like a lion is creating quite a challenge for you and Brent, but remember in just a few weeks we will get to see you using the new corn planter!!!
We had onlt about 3inches of snow but then it rained all day so all the slush froze solid. The trees look real pretty with their ice voating though. Farming in winter just makes dure you really love what you do. Keep up the good work.
Good Morning Taylor I have the weather app on my phone for your area so I already knew you were having snow, what a bummer, I thought you finally got into spring but I guess Mother Nature had other plans but I am glad everything worked out for you and Brent, the Moo Moo Mamas look great and the little calf’s look beautiful As you were unrolling the bale of hay it almost seemed like they were telling you to hurry up because they were hungry lol well that’s enough of me rattling on, you and Brent😊 have a fabulous day, stay warm and work safe
Hi 👋🏻 Seems like winter is not letting go just yet! I’m glad you could join us 😀. They do seem to be letting me know I could pick up the pace do t they😂. You have a terrific evening and thank you SO much for commenting 🙂
Hi Tay, valiant job struggling against the snow and cold weather. As a side-note I think that the collective name for crows is .... a murder of crows !.. but not certain? Xx ❤
I used to do the same thing with my hand when bottle feeding young calves and found that they would always drink better just like sticking your fingers in their mouths and let them suck while teaching them to drink from a bucket
What happened to Brent's leg? He looks like a great guy to work for; very patient! My grandfather was a tyrant, like a top sargeant! Did you take FFA classes in high school?
Yeah we thought spring was coming here in Northern NY weather had been pretty warm and grass was even starting to green up was thinking might get heifers out on pasture the first week of April which is unusual here in NY but then got hit with extreme cold this week and about a foot of snow yesterday and Friday so that plans out the window so now will probley be end of April beging of May but tis the way of farming
We have a couple of farmers here in South West Michigan that have oats planted a week ago and Friday we had 6in of snow my dad always said snow on the oats made good oats
Seen this video before, but that's ok! I like seeing you go down to where you mow the hay and move the equipment around. Way sunnier than the last video I think. No it's not a boring video as people need to see that farming needs repetition to be efficient and safe, and not changing every day with chaos. You do more before 8am than most folks do all day, great video. Remember, boring means safety and efficiency. Oh and flocks of crows are a "murder of crows."
We here in Iowa are just like you there. It's cold and weird supposed to get more snow this week. But the end of the weekend where's both to get app in the 60s? It's really been a crazy year already. And then we're supposed to have very dry this summer.
I am glad I don't have any of Pablo Escobars product showing up randomly where I am. Would make laying in the sun and studying my melanoma rather difficult everyday. 🙂⛵ Someone probably has already said this but always park with your nose facing any downward slope, this way you use Issac Newton's weird invention to your advantage and you won't get stuck.
It's like winter left the room and came back in yelling "OH!!! AND ANOTHER THING!!"
Nice video, Taylor! Winter is always a bit of a pain, but the clear blue skies are very nice! I think you are right that the calves like their noses to be held while they have a bottle ! It must make them think of their mother!! They like your company! 😀

The care you show for the animals is remarkable , enjoy , stay safe .

A little snow isn't going to stop Old Yeller.
😄 no sir!
Nice video Taylor.
Must have filmed that Sat. What a mess, thankfully it was all rain down in MA.
Rain, snow, hot, cold ... Cows have to eat.
No, this was actually Thursday for us. Saturday was even worse 😂
I saw you all were going to get snow bombeb a couple times. I'm in Sw Indiana it has been cold below freezing but no snow'

Oh wow, I hope everything is going well for you! Thanks so much for watching 😀
Good day Taylor have a great day though these spring snow storms are nasty but it is moisture Have a great day stay healthy and safe and a great day
Calves are so pretty when they are first born.
The coast is pretty well wrecked from the ice storm. I went in to sand at midnight and it looked like a war zone.
Take Care up there the weather is back and forth down here in the south. No snow tho.
Taylor, you are so cute, but you are as real as they come. Yes, we all are sick of the spring tease and winters revisit.
Hello Taylor. I'm glad you made to work safely have a good day my friend. You do look fabulous every day bother way
We always held the calf bottle as low as cows udder for better digestion.
I know ya'll get tired of snow, but we hardly get any in West Tennessee. I guess you want what you cannot have.
You look beautiful as always
Good afternoon the white Ford would probably do better in the snow 🌨️
Tay I was doing the same you doing now for 16 years with my uncle until he pass now is me and my brother doing it all again❤
So sorry to hear about your loss, it is wonderful that you and your brother are working together!
Taylor I was going to say you and Brent might not want to put the sleds away just yet.
Good Morning hello 👋🏾 how you doing your still coming again snow this march for being special good 🌼🌱 weird on weather today
What happened to Brent's leg? He looks like a great guy to work for; very patient! My grandfather was a tyrant, like a top sargeant! Did you take FFA classes in high school?
Ooo. The cows are angry. Poor things. 😢
Nothing worse than driving in a snowstorm at night over barely passible roads where you can hardly see the road. That will stress you out.
Olette erittäin alkeellisia maidontuottajia. Ei kelpaisi täällä suomessa.
Only 20 min , no problemo..😊Have you ever had to snowmobile to work?😮🎉
😅. Yes I actually have snowmobiled to work quite a few times 😀

I’ve heard that same thing! Good thing cause winter is hanging on hard this year!
I live in Granville NY and we got 22 inches of snow didn't lose power
It’s just crazy isn’t it! Glad your power stayed on 😀

Nothing like a good ice storm to “modify” plans. I doubt CMP will get to us for a couple days. Hope you fare better.
You could send the snow over to here because we haven't really had any 😅
North Central Vermont here-we had about 2 feet of snow.
Nice video! Groeten uit België 🤞🍺

Hope you did not get the foot of snow. Another great video.. keep farmung
Hii I'm indya 🇮🇳

A flock of crows is called a murder. We got hit with a final blast of winter also.
We here in Iowa are just like you there. It's cold and weird supposed to get more snow this week. But the end of the weekend where's both to get app in the 60s? It's really been a crazy year already. And then we're supposed to have very dry this summer.
I know it’s been so crazy already🤔 Hope they’re wrong about the dryness.. nothing harder than a dry year
I am missing something. What are the cows, down the road. The barn that you drop the hay from above? I love your channel. Jer
