- Last day here in NOLA. Breakfast at the original location District Donuts for some iced coffee and donuts!
Walking to our lunch spot, made a quick stop at La Boulangerie for a cappuccino and cookie.
Lunch at Domilise Po-Boys was great! Family owned for a 100 years!
Turkey and the Wolf has been on our radar for quite some time, and we finally made it! Tried their popular Collard Green Melt sandwich, it did not disappoint!
Like Pina Coladas? Look no further than the ones served at the Carousel Bar. Hand shaken to perfection, these will not disappoint.
For our last dinner, we returned to the Gumbo Shop and tried something different. Great service, great food!
That wraps up our trip to NOLA. The food keeps us visiting this city and the Southern hospitality makes us smile!

T minus 9 days to New Orleans for us - back to researching...definitely looks like a place we will need multiple trips to. Totally understand why you guys love to go back
9 days! Woot! You're be there right in the Mardi Gras scene. Perfect time to try some King Cake!
@@billandlisa right now our list is enough for 6 weeks straight of eating! Oh and of course plan on getting some Purple Drank!
@@billandlisa Sad to say we didn't know what King Cake really was til you said this...now we added another thing to eat, it is no wonder NOLA needs multiple trips.
I love those “What I eat in a day” videos, and “What’s in my fridge” videos.
I figure I could have weirder obsessions, ha!

Just keeping things real, chubbs! haha
I love this couple. They seem to be the nicest people!
Red beans and rice, love it
This is a great video guys. Hope you two are doing well!
District donuts have different flavored donuts everyday!
You two are by far my fav you tubers! X
Wow! Thanks Claire!
Forgot about Acme and those cooked oysters. Those I could eat all by myself. I was shocked, no Willie Mae's on this trip but that po'boy, OMG!!! Need to go to NOLA and stay for a week to try all these great places! BTW, love the top Lisa is wearing. I want one and it would be part of my Las Vegas wardrobe.🍸🍹🍺🍷🥃 Another great vlog. You two are the best!
Thanks Yvonne! It was so hard not to go back to Willie Mae's, but glad we made it there on our last trip about a month ago. Yes, you'll need a week to go on a Taste of New Orleans foodie tour!
I think they should have gone to Willie Mays and got a to-go box for the airplane
@@sherrielson517 I agree but think they mentioned they had an early flight. They wouldn't be able to get the chicken and catch their flight.
Planet rock!! I see you head bobbin Bill🤙🏽. Everything looked good as usual (Even the veg sandwich). Red beans and rice...some serious comfort food!!
Yes!! That's the name of the song! lol
I always love when you guys go to New orleans!!!!!! Now, I have to try the gumbo shop
It's worth a stop!
Very nice .
Ahh man, I thought for sure Deenies would make the list this time. Ah well, I know you’ll get there. Their gumbo trio is so bomb!
We walked by it! Yes, it's still on our list to try, so many foodie options, made our head spin. lol
I’m a new subscriber, I only subscribed yesterday when I found you and I love your channel. Donuts are my weakness, I always have them on a cheat meal day which is tonight lol. Those don’ts look absolutely amazing 😋😍 my goodness, that orange cream one looks so good but the cinnamon roll one really made me drool 🤤 fantastic video thank you
Thanks for subscribing, FitAngie! If you ever make it to Vegas or NOLA, give District Donuts a try! That c-roll is delicious!
OMG WTf. never in my life. Have heard of this combo looks so freaking good 💕💕💕💕
It was next level Po-Boy!
You guys are great! The best! 🎖
I'm waiting for your travel book so I can take it with me when I go traveling.
I stayed at the Prince Conti before. We had a skylight in our room. It was very cool.
You guys are gonna hit 10k subscribers soon!!!
You guys need to try Mr. Ed’s oyster and fish house. It’s just a few blocks from Acme. We got the tip from a hotel
Worker, and the place is sooo good! Every bit as good as Acme.
We literally walked by Mr. Ed's. lol We'll have to give it a go next time! Thanks for the recommendation!
Hi Guys looks so goood!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to go to New Orleans.
Headed to NOLA this weekend.
Have a great time!
How about a vlog on yr home cook? Just a suggestion and a tour of yr hse..love from malaysia
It'd be boring. lol
Nothing is boring with bill and lisa hahaha ..enjoyed every vlog you made😙
Yum! Everything! Just made collards a couple nights ago. But I’d definitely pass on the Abitas... blechhh! Haha!
I would have gotten the salted carmel donut!
Parkway Tavern IS wonderful - my first stop after leaving BNA
Classic view from the Prince Conti Hotel, Good looking PoBoy, interesting choice at Turkey a t Wolf, it looked really delicious. Acme is actually very under rated. I love it, especially the Char-Grilled Oysters, it's amazing how many locals scoff. Voodoo how are you doing at Laffite's, best purple drink in the world!!! hard to go wrong at the gumbo shop, the prices are so good. You missed Vieux Carre Pizza!!!!
Hi James! You know your NOLA eats! We planned on hitting up Vieux Carre Pizza for a little shootout between them and Crescent City Pizza Works. Every time we planned on going there, something popped up or we were on the other side of town. No excuses on our next visit to NOLA, we won't miss Vieux Carre Pizza.
@@billandlisa James... they needed to hit up Drago's in da Metrys for the chargrilled esters... I agree w/ Laffites, Felix's is better than Acme, and Pizza Delicious rules in the Bywater. Bill missed out on that fried bologna sammich at the Turkey and the Wolf. It's a game changer.
2 👍 up guys until our next video take care Aloha 🤙
I would like to try one of those Pina coladas.
Lisa and bill me, my mom, and my grandma love watching your videos! We watch them daily! And LISA, My mom wants to know where you get all your cute shirts at?
Hi Marissa! Lisa said she gets her shirts from whatever place that has a sale in the mall. lol Thank you everyone for watching!
BIG smile Parkway Surf and Turf
We'll try and hit up Parkway next time!
Always get the bolognese sandwich. It fits in your back pocket and u can always share it on the LYFt ride home.
Great tip, Wayne! lol Next time!
Vegetables 😂😂 husband said 🤣🤣
Rice and beans! It's absolutely brazilian food.
Wherever the origin, it's good stuff! =)
😋😋❤️❤️
Hi Bill & Lisa, have you visited
Little Dizzy Cafe in Louisiana?
No, but we do have it bookmarked for a future visit.
Purple drink.
Yeah!!!!!!@
Have you tried the doughnuts at Donut Dynamite in Maui? They are delicious.
We have not, but we just bookmarked it! Thanks for the recommendation!
I didn't even know until watching this vlog that district donuts is from New OrleansI've had them a couple times at the cosmo but it was late at night so I think they might have been made earlier in the morning I'll have to try them again earlier in the day. if you guys want to do a cookie 🍪🍪🍪shoot out I have three great places ,one is at the cosmo that has the kitchen sink (which is the most amazing cookie ever) in the little coffee shop by the escalator to wicked spoon, plus they also have the big brownie one which is kind of like a lava brownie with a soft center and harder edges with walnuts in it ,so delicious. I can't think of the name of it right now. The second one is in lavenzza, spelling that wrong, it's a little coffee shop inside of ballys and they have one of the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had ,they also have muffins that are delicious and half price pastries and muffins after 3 p.m., but they don't really advertise it.. even without advertising they still sell out of the banana Walnut almost every day, if you're lucky enough to even find one, the third cookie is actually in a gas station called AM/PM they bake these cookies all throughout the day and sell them three for a dollar in a little package by the cash register (they have one right across from Bally's heading away from the strip on the corner there,)and they also have one similar to the kitchen sink that's called "the everything" which is amazing you have to try it.. if you can find it they are sold out a lot too, one time I went to four am/pm's and wasn't able to find one at all 😪... they are delicious ! Happy eating and thank you for taking me along with you to all these great places.. I wish there was a way I could send you some pictures of my food adventures cuz I've been to some great places too !! ✌️♥️
What a cookie list! Might be something for a future vlog. Thanks for all the recommendations, Sherri!
You guys do a lot of walking. How many steps do you get a day? I’m curious.
This last trip, we walked around 4 miles a day.
Thank you for another great video. My wife and I plan on being in N.O.L.A. two weeks before Mardi Gra and we'll definitely check out a lot of the place you visited from your previous to recent videos. Oh...you guys look like a great loving couple like my wife and I. We need to see more kissing...lol. Thanks again
You'll have a great time in NOLA! It's one of our favorite foodie cities!
it seems you have not eaten in nola if you have not had bignets and coffe in the cafe dumonde
Been there many times, see our other NOLA vlogs.
They serve Purple Haze draft at Bourbon Street in Vegas. I would not necessarily recommend the food there though.
Purple Haze is our go-to beer in NOLA! Love it!
Isn't $15 for 2 Donuts and a cup of coffee a lot of money
As for cost, Dunkin Donuts would be more of a everyday place, whereas District would be a treat for making it thru the workweek. lol
I thought the same thing I spent like $5 and something for 1 at the cosmo and it wasn't even that good but maybe next time it will be fresher... you can get a great donot at pink box or actually even Krispy Kreme for that matter cuz I think all donuts are good LOL
Cute kiss, y'all need to make more grandkids.
Uh, no. LOL
I was super disappointed in the Gumbo Shop; I really felt that their roux and food was bland in general.
Sorry to hear. Luckily, there's so many other options in the area.
Have you tried the Mexican food in NOLA its terrible. They have people from el Salvador and Honduras maken it..just saying
