Hi Yamaha Majesty USA website have a great how to section it's free to join. In the how to section there is instructions with pictures on how to replace the rear brakes. Look at the replace the coolant too, i did it to my bike as i don't think it had ever been done and it was simple to do. Have a fun safe ride, i wish i was doing the ride with you! Thanks Damien
Hi I got the grips from ebay. Type in yamaha motorcycle grips, cheap as as too about $8, see the link below. I just cut the old ones off with a utility knife, cleaned any old glue off. I poured a little general purpose glue (Tarzans grip glue) in the grip and slid it on quick. Do it in the shade so the handlebar isn't hot that way the glue doesn't set quickly and you can move it around into position. Easy to do, good luck. Damien
Really good videos, I own a 2008 and this will be really helpful did you ever do the rear? I am gearing up to do brake fluid flush this season before going on my 2000 mile ride again great video you should do more
I forgot to add, take the bar ends off with a Phillips head screwdriver first, i sprayed them with lubricant first so the screws came out easier. Once the new grips are on put the bar ends back on. I just saw the same grips as mine on ebay for $3.99 delivered.
