Li Dong is such a great person he still loves her but walked away with a pure heart and I love how he was so forthcoming and honest . Meiya was the strongest of anyone and they all destroy love. This drama had me hooked from the first show.
I feel so bad for the second lead. It hit him bad. He seems like a perfect man that had bad luck in love this time. I couldn’t believe he was waiting for that long for the girl. It’s ok her twin will wait for him. I like the lesson here: it’s ok that you made mistakes as long as you turn back.

I love the part about Chen Zhe and li meyenya more than any parts of this episode, empathy towards her childhood friend as orphans.
I felt sorry for him. He was hurt to the point where it sent him into mental illness. He needed mental help not jail.
This is the Drama that I never skipped episodes. It is really worth following it. The casts made such a huge difference. Well written episodes and performed or acted very well. The plots twist and turns are really tastefully done. I look forward to another series that will pop up again . Background music is so great. Actresses and actors had done an amazing job.

This was the most amazing drama, with such an excellent plot with many unexpected twists and turns. The acting was excellent, every single one of them was so impressive. I don't know how these actors learn to portray anguish and grief and tears so well. HOW do they do it, It was amazing!? These actors are so talented its mind boggling. Although this drama broke my heart over and over, I loved every second of it. One strange thing is that although Chen Zhe was so horrible as he descended into darkness, I just couldn't hate him. He was such a tragic character and my heart bled for him. Fantastic acting for that character. The story perfectly portrayed the affects that tragedy and pain can have on a person. Very compassionate portrayal and the viewer is skillfully lead down the road to understanding the horrifying journey of their descent into destruction darkness, and hate. I am really impressed with the Chinese dramas I have watched, there is nothing comparable to them in the U.S. I am also fascinated by the glimpses of Chinese culture. I've learned so much, which I am very grateful for. Only one thing I wish could have been a little different, more passionate kisses! With feelings running so high the kisses seemed too platonic. Thanks so much for this series, it helped me not go insane during the quarantine!

This drama is really plays with human emotions that everyone has to face when they go through different situations of life and human relations and conflicts,love and care within it. Dramatic twists and the problem faced and the way they tackle them made drama more enjoyable. Loading is my favourite in this drama because of his unselfishness, kindness, simple life and the ability to handle any problem smoothly. This drama became one of my favourites.
I cried so many times literally such a emotional lovable drama it is I really like it

Li Dong deserves an Oscar for his portrayal in this drama. Lin Meiya was too forgiving too soon to Ou Yang. Can’t believe her heart wasn’t swayed by the love and attention she received from the Dong family. Ou yang was too brutal in braking up with Meiya...it would naturally, in real life, be a while to overcome those hurt feelings. @k

1st drama I've watch till 6:30 in the morning I can't get over with it. Perfect cast, perfect acting, perfect plot. Gosh all the emotions was here. But I really admired Uncle Li character till the end. He has the greatest love towards a girl, bestfriend and family. The best love and character towards the end. Very flawless man. Gosh! I feel that even though Meiya said she would always wear the chain and Siyu wished them both happiness was not completely real. Their smiles did not look completely real and a little bit fake. To me Meiya's eyes were saying I forgive you Siyu but I will never trust you. And Siyu's eyes were saying I wish you both happiness but I still would want to be with OuYang if I had a chance. And the look on OuYang face look like he was saying he was not buying it from neither one of them. But he was just glad to move on and hopefully thing would be fine.

I would forgive her for my mental good state. Meaning so I could release the hate I had for her! The best I could give her would be a (hi, small talk, bye) type of interaction. But never, never, could she be my friend!!

only for both of you...
I sincerely like Li Dong character. strong love for Meiya but no expectations. Just trying to make his loved one happy with respect, dignity and pride. Ou yang and Meiya are truly love each other and must be get married. Also like Ou Rui, she is strong enough to make decisions at critical moments. Weiwei is cute and clean heart person, she has quality to be best friend of any good person. I watched last few episodes several times and agreed with Meiya's adoptive father Mr. Lin what he said at end to Ou Yang's mom..... money can't give happiness. Though I am from different country culture and religion but I love this drama.

Finished this truly brilliant drama. The cast was amazing and the chemistry was very well matched. My only feeling is that it would of been lovely if there was another episode showing the wedding of the two leads and Li Dong getting his own happiness. The two male leads were very handsome in very different ways. what a choice to make very hard. As foe the so called best friend Meiya was far to forgiving a best friend would never take away the love of your life for their own gains.
An excellent drama. Full of emotions, responsibility, respect, socialization, family and home orientation, living, most of all lessons to be learned in real life. This is all in one. I viewed this from beginning until the end.
Surely those who viewed were touched and let's do the right things, thus minimizing undesirable things and mistakes in life. Thanks very for sowing this.
What a masterpiece...I love this drama...all praise to the writer, scriptwriter, director... no boring scene in every episode..I love also the actors & actresses who portray well their character in the story..looking forward for more drama that could be a masterpiece...except for one episode with no sub title everything was perfect...
Episode 65

Mei Ya asks Chen Zhe to let Ou Rui go and she’ll stay with him. Chen Zhe apologizes for throwing away 20 years together and he’s grateful he has a chance to apologize before he dies. She says if he dies there’ll be nothing left, but he says he already has nothing. He’s done too many terrible things, with no way out. She tells him he has a choice. She asks him to remember how they met, her first day at the orphanage when she cried alone in a corner until he stayed by her side and protected her from bullies. She says that’s who he really is, that’s who he is in her heart.

Chen Zhe gets up slowly but when Ou Rui tries to run away, he grabs her. He confesses that he’s the one who caused Mei Ya’s dad’s accident. Mei Ya says her dad didn’t say anything. He can explain things to the police, and she and her dad will stay by his side and wait for him.

She covers his hand and closes the lighter. Chen Zhe lets Ou Rui go. Mei Ya takes Chen Zhe’s hand and leads him to the police. They exchange a sad smile before he turns himself in and is taken into custody.

Li Dong is on an airplane. 
Mei Ya tells Ou Yang she hasn’t explained things to Li Dong but he says he did before he came to find her. Li Dong left Mei Ya a message saying he understands that she’s struggling with how to face him. He wishes her well and says he’s leaving for a while.

Ou Yang, Mei Ya, and Si Yu have a meal together at the same restaurant where he gave Si Yu the necklace. (I thought this was another flashback at first.) Si Yu says she’s going back to France and thanks them for coming to send her off. Ou Yang apologizes to her but she admits she’s the one who should apologize. She knew they were together but she wouldn’t give up.
During this exchange between Ou Yang and Si Yu, Mei Ya just sits there silently with her head down and it weirds me out. It makes it seem like she’s the guilty party or some kind of third wheel.

Si Yu asks Mei Ya if they can be friends again and gives Mei Ya the necklace. (She’s wearing hers already.) ~ a montage of their friendship highlights ~ Mei Ya puts the necklace on. They smile at each other, tearing up.
One year later.

Mei Ya works at the food stall with Tu Dou and her dad. (If it’s been a year, why hasn’t she returned to Oushi or found a new job in her field?! She had talent!) Li Dong comes and sits down at a table while Mei Ya is busy with other customers. Surprised, Mei Ya is speechless for a moment. She asks where he’s been for the past year. They looked for him and worried about him. He apologizes, saying he spent the time in a place where no one knew him to reflect over things. He’s thought things over clearly and came back. She says she’s been waiting to apologize. Li Dong replies that he said before that he’d let go when she found someone she loved. Because of meeting her, he learned he had the ability to love. She returns his key, explaining that Ou Yang told her the apartment didn’t actually belong to his ‘friend’. Li Dong says if Ou Yang hurts her he’ll beat him up for her. He says he has to go to his restaurant and see how Wei Wei is doing.

Li Dong leaves but then turns back to open his arms for a hug. Mei Ya pauses for a moment before finally giving him a genuine smile and hugging him. They hug happily before he leaves.

Wei Wei and the employees hide with confetti cannons. He is shocked to discover Zi Jie and Ruo Nan working there as waiters. Ruo Nan shares that the two of them moved out of the Ou house, and Wei Wei says she and Ruo Nan are close friends now. They all receive a message from Ou Yang.

Everyone has gathered for dinner-Mei Ya, Ou Yang, Ou Rui, Ou Rui’s mom, Mei Ya’s dad, Mei Ya’s aunt and her husband, Wei Wei, Li Dong, Ruo Nan, Zi Jie, Tu Dou. (Excuse me, why wasn’t Yi Long invited?!?!?!?!?) Mei Ya’s dad mentions Ou Rui’s dad went to jail. Mei Ya’s aunt and her husband reconciled.

Ou Rui asks Mei Ya to come back to Oushi. The research department was in Suzhou but they’ve set up a team locally for her. Mei Ya thanks her, and announces that they’re celebrating today because she and Ou Yang finalized the paperwork for reopening the orphanage.

But then, Ou Yang cuts in to say there’s another reason and pulls Mei Ya away. He proposes, with the same ring, at the same place, to signify that his love for her has never changed. Of course she says yes, and everyone cheers.

They kiss. And that’s it!

This is far far from the Chinese dramas I've watched. Thankful that I found this. Great actors, almost no awkward acting, nicely directed, decent hospital scene(honestly, most Chinese dramas I watched have cringe-worthy hospital scenes), not boring and predictable plot, good action scenes, etc. This is my most-satisfied Chinese drama I watched.

Absolutely agree 💯 This was a fantastic series and story full of life lessons and as mentioned in the ending proposal “ twists and turns” in the journey of life and love. Agreed and hoping for a continuation series story Season 2 To Be With You seeing the ending of Le Dong after being away for a year understanding to know he is open to find love and Du Ronan still had eyes of love for Li Dong.

I absolutely loved everything about this drama!!!!!!! It was an above top notch drama!!!!!!!!! This was my first time watching a drama with these many episodes!! It had everything drama, romance, comedy, action, ect... I was never bored with any episode!! I am so deeply in my heart and soul glad OuYang and LinMeiYa got back together in the end. They were so perfectly deep in love with each other!! They deserved to be together!! I loved LiDong so much and if OuYang couldn't have been with her he would definitely be my second choice for to be with. But he knew she was never in love with him. And that her heart belong to OuYang and she would choose him. He had to let her go because it was the right thing to do and she would not love him back the same way he loved her. Also, he needed to exit in a way he could save his pride and dignity. He went away for a year to be able to get a hold of his emotions for her and realize he could love someone. But I do feel based off of the look on his face when he hugged her he still loved her but could move on now. I would forgive Siyu for my own mental benefit. So I could get rid of all the anger I felt toward her and be at mental peace. But I would never forget and trust her ever. We could never be friends again. So once again this was an amazing, awesome, superb drama I will miss it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

算了吧！心疼歸心疼，黎冬更多是自找的。他的愛情觀很弔詭，從頭到尾就不追求不示愛，杵在那等愛情天上掉下來砸中他，總是以小黎叔這親人定位在付出，當然林美雅也真心視其為親叔來回報，所以林美雅一點也不欠他，但這從來不是相愛或者說是暗戀，林美雅的先後任男友陳哲和歐陽時期都是如此，有病啊，直到歐陽因親兄妹的無奈懇求他守護林美雅一輩子，他才開始被動去示愛追求，可惜時機不對，一方面林美雅無奈被迫放棄一段深刻愛戀情傷未癒短時間無法走出接受新感情，只因黎冬暖心的幫助同意交往，但這應該不是愛情更可能是受暖心守護的感動回報和無奈選擇，最終又反轉不是親兄妹，仍相愛的歐陽和林美雅選擇復合很正常有理，難不成要犧牲相愛去強拆硬湊合出2朵一愛一不愛的白蓮花，這是有病吧！黎冬2次心痛的表現很雷同，第1次是歐陽林美雅在一起時，瘋狂的打拳攻擊歐陽，第2次是復合時，瘋狂的裸拳打沙包，就奇了，這麼愛怎這麼消極不追求不示愛，所以我認為他是自找的，機會是他自己不要的，怨不得人。

Just finished watching the series drama and really really loved this series the story and all the characters. Although there were main characters for the series the story and each and all had a story of past and present
There were many highly emotional and heart wrenching scenes I felt and had tears on with and yet there was also serious and high impact action scenes but also humorous and funny scenes as well.
Definitely life lessons in this series to learn and take from and those with hearts of kindness to effect to others being kind and loving.
Absolutely loved the ending final episode that life lessons and the commitment and trust to holding onto deep in the heart was never lost on or given up on for a happy and great ending.
Would love to see a continuation for a season 2. Seems there could be many more stories to the series characters on ChenZhe/Xiaozhe, OuRui, Du Ruonan, Li Dong and even WeiWei if there is a serious connection of her with Su Zijie
