HMS Bark Endeavour

A film I took on 22 JUne 2003 of the Bark Endeavour coming into Whitby
Harbour. It was a really good celebration and was well attended by many
people. I don't know who the singers were but they were very good. The
weather was great after passing through fog on the way over the moors.

The singers are Richard Grainger lead vocal with the Endeavour Shantymen.The songs are 'Long Time Ago' , 'Endeavour Shanty' and 'Eye Of The Wind. The first is a traditional shanty and the others are Richard Grainger originals !

Richard Grainger Thank you for your information. We wondered for years, we loved their singing and would have liked to see them again. Unfortunately my husband died this month last year. I miss him.
