I have never commented on a bugez video after 5 years of being inspired by him, but I really feel I need to say how amazing these gym reviews are now. It's so wholesome to watch one of my heroes nerd out over this equipment, and it's inspired me to visit several new and great gyms across Britain this last few weeks. Thank you bugez for everything you've done for fitness in your time and thank you for still killing it
No sadly lmao. Thank goodness I had someone paying for me. I am in saint pete only 20 minutes from it so said f**k it a long time ago when one of my friends said they would pay for my membership.. found out it is 255$ per month, per person and you have to put up first and last to sign up. They only let a certain amount of members go and they will tell you the exact amount there at the time, sometimes the membership is "full" and they have a lot of seminars there. Which you also pay for haha! I did pay for a deadlift seminar and it was sick for 40$ the hour they had a really good speaker show everything and work with you that was a olympian. Fun experiencing the equipment but not the place to go if you are not on gear or not competing. @@Testosteroneisnaturaltrump2024
All I want is to see Rick succeed. Every time he uploads you can just see the positive vibes he brings to all of us. Im sat here trying to motivate myself to do my ACL rehab and its guys like Rick, Sam Sulek etc who keep me saying to myself "lets gooo baby!"
Ack, I’ve been there. How far into your rehab are you? I got great results with the CPM 2 hours 3/day, and if you can find a physical therapy place that has an antigravity treadmill that was amazing!
Went to one of your previous recommendations at Animal House in Milwaukee on a work trip. Great recommendation, maxed all the machines petted the dogs, made for a great night. Please keep ‘em coming Rick de la stick
You should fly to Vienna, Austria and visit DAS Gym (by Intelligent Strength), they have dumbbells up to 600 pounds and LOTS of old and new special equipment, all the posters you like and much more... ;-)
I freakin love the podcast type rambles at the end of the videos, I can just turn off the screen and walk around listening to the wisdom of the horse man
Rick The Stick Delhagen back at it again with another juicy and bulbous video, filled to the absolute brim with the stickiest and most striated content ever know to man
may i suggest a golden tidbit? i never see anyone doing high weight low reps wrist curls in any sort of variation, currently i do medium rep and weight with a nice rotating handle with a cable, and i also do max effort single arm barbell wrist curls using a bench to support my arm and strict wrist curling
My 2 cents: fat gripz never did wonders for my forearms, but forearm curls + HEAVY farmer carries (like with a trap bar too) have done wonders. + as many pull ups/hangs/rows/RDL you can fit in. i.e. if I have to chose between ham curl and RDL i go RDL, etc. just my 2 cents
Thanks for highlighting the thick rotating rods, all implements need these. If you were a fighting character youd ve rocking those crazy gripbells, those definitely look like some barbarian weapons. So youd be surprised by my grip gains, and no, it wasnt from lifting. Im 'thin' at 6'3.5", 200lbs, and have done weightlifting programs on and off over the past 15 years and have fat grips on my pull up bar and rower. I had my grip tested because of a throwing specific golfers elbow. I think that came in around 155lbs dominant/ 145lbs off. I just finished a year of playing dodgeball in a league using 8.25" foam balls. I spread my hand when i used the bulbous balls to block, and no shit has my dominate hand gone up to 212lbs and off hand 187lbs- yes, thats with the calibrated load cell gripper. Id have thought throwing would have a bigger impact, i was clocked throwing 71mph dominant arm and 59mph off arm, but blocking is where its at.
How can a gym like that even exist ? I can't even comprehend how expensive it must've been to get all this equipment. I hope they are making good money
I agree with you on the straps. I will only use them for weighted pull ups, on the heaviest dumbell for farmers walks(gym only has to 50kg) and deadlifts past 120kg(yes i am weak) but straps helped me to go up to 180kg. I love straps but i try not to rely on them
@@johnnybeefum because at the 50kg db i cant hold on to them and with the straps i can still do the walks that will still benefit my traps , also great for side delts if you try to keep them at like 1/8th of the full rom for side laterals. also i use no straps up to the 50kgs. so if i started with the 50kgs i would probably do fine but i end with the heavier weight
interesting stuff. i think the reason the needle nose bench tapers is for people doing dumbell flies and barrel presses or presses with a cambered bar.
Sticky Ricky, if you ever find yourself in the Montreal Canada area you gotta check out the Atlantis Gym. They got insane never before seen T1000 prototype type machines.
UNDERATED!! Where are all the droves of people trying to get jacked in this place. I mean i get it who like the traffic but seriously this place is DOPE!! I would probably go every day if it was here in Dallas.
We are going from 1 to 2 minute videos, to full documentary sized gym reviews. Ricky is all in again

It would be a genius 4d marketing chess move for Watson to send some equipment to stick’s home gym.

Mans drove 2 hours for the big boy dumbbells 💪 !! Frickin dedication.
its always crazy seeing these places with $100000's of stuff and there's a dozen guys in the gym at peak
Gyms make a ton of money on ppl that dont show up
Because planet fatness has 300 cardio machines and sells to people they know will forget to cancel when they stop going to the gym after 3 days

Grip bell needs to send you a set for the review you gave them. Definitely looks killer for forearms.
The gym review videos are getting better and better 👏
You are quite talented and well spoken Eric. I enjoy this content and I hope your career keeps ascending.

I love the fat grips. My forearms need as much work as possible - the fat grips make a lot of difference+ doing regular wrist curls.

Amazed to see so much Watson stuff in the US, super cool, it’s good stuff
Wtf
Be careful listening to this at work. There's a lot of talk of shafts, tinkling, engorgement and gripping.
His descriptions will never get old xD
THICK BULBOUS SHAFT!
Love you Rick I’m rooting for your success as a rotund and bulbous fitness influencer
Buckets! Keep these coming. Absolutely love
Awesome video brother! That skinny bench would give insane range of motion for pressing. Loving these long videos and the new car talks! Keep it up!!!
It definitely does but cost 275$ a month with contracts involved. It is in South Tampa
Never heard of watson before but their equipment seems immaculate. Btw I prefer these long format videos.
The standing incline bench is cool! They were around in the Dave Draper/Peanuts West days in the 1960s. I wish they were more widespread.
Impressive. Stay a specimen Ricky.

This might be my fav Ricky vid ever. So darn good!
I do love how all these end with Eric just ranting about whatever is on his mind that day.

why would you use straps for Farmer's Walks? one of the major benefits of the Farmer's Walk is to train your grip.
