Hey Yahtz, might be a bit late for the Skyrim glitch swapping party, but I just started playing Skyrim this year, and I thought I’d share a few of mine: finding a bunny hopping around, like normal, in the middle of a lake, underwater; hitting an enemy with a paralyzing great sword and his body starts freaking out on the world geometry in a circular pattern, almost like I smacked him so hard he entered the next dimension; a dragon’s movement scripting messed up while it was flying around and it looks for all the world like it’s crashing and scraping its face off on the ground; and of course, the countless times I’ve had random objects floating above the ground, because the collision messed up.
I just found out the car image Yahtzee uses in the Minecraft video is a concept car called the 'XPA'. It was built by Lotus to be an SUV in their model range! What the hell were they thinking?? That vehicle is neither simple nor light, which is their entire mission statement! ("Simplify; then add lightness")

To the future people watching this in the year 2031, perhaps to study for your media studies course on retro video games. Can you let me know what the 20th anniversary, 280th re-release of Skyrim is like and can we play it on ATM's or on the back of someones head on the bus yet?
2:51:26 Did Yhatzee write the Jam novel based around this joke or to sneakily advertise it before it was even released? Knowing him, this is probably another abrasive joke and I'm reading too much into this, so I'm leaving this question here to dangle for the sci-fi future internet archeologists to puzzle over and create false theories of, with their cute little science projects be obsolete in nanoseconds as more theories come up while I watch from on high with my suspiciously comfy chair.
Anytime I see the ZP character with a hood on (see: every AssCreed video) I see a guy with a deranged upside down grin rather than a shadowed face, no matter how long I've known it's a shadowed face.
I really don't get why these have to be edited. At 17:26 the blackened Ku-Klux-Klan guy hiding in the coal been removed. Every single Punctuation without Punctuation has gotten some edit to it to remove something 'insentitive', or in the case of the Exasperated Chinese Zookeeper saying, "Fuck that", little tiny eyes were *added* so he looked 'less racist'. Sure, maybe at their given times of release it wasn't exactly tasteful, maybe even now some things are still insentitive. But that's just the style of humor Yahtzee has, and the Escapist signed off on it being released the first time.
Quite a number from my count so far. The joke about the president calling the Secretary of Defence that one gay slur is out, presumably because we're not allowed to make fun of insensitive gits like that anymore. There's probably been a few other ones here and there, but since I'm just listening to this in the background (since I watched the original uncensored complications like 7 times through) I've probably missed a few.
So this is a "thing" with these compilations? I only just started watching them (mostly by accident, after leaving an individual ZP review on as I fell asleep and when I woke up, it was paused on a compilation) and after far too long spent rewatching individual reviews - finely honing my "skip forward 10 seconds" reflexes - finding out there existed a way to watch ZP, in order, with the opening and ending themes cut out was something I didn't know I needed til I had it. Unfortunately, I eventually noticed this strange, recurring and off-putting issue where it would sound like the video had glitched - like suddenly Yahtzee's tone and cadence would change, which I just assumed was him "editing out his pause for breath" or whatever he once called it lawl. But then I was *certain* there'd been a cut when one of my favorite reviews was playing and one of my favorite jokes ended not with the next line (with which I am all-too-well acquainted, as a line immediately following one of my favorite jokes), but hopped right on over it to the next next line. I couldn't believe it, I thought it must be a mistake, so I went to the comments and found numerous references to this issue right off the bat - I made a comment about it myself, I think it was the 2009 or 2010 compilation. But what *really* surprised me was finding out these compilations come from The Escapist themselves - that made the "edited-for-TV presentation" bologna extra moldy. I probably shouldn't be surprised, if it's their prerogative to censor the videos "in post" (as it were), then they would be the one entity with the "rights" to do so...I suppose. I guess what confuses me is why bother to censor the *compilation* by editing certain lines out (for whatever reason) but then leave their respective original counterparts intact? It's all ZP, so it's not like we don't know what we're getting ourselves into (not any more or less than watching the reviews individually). So I'm hard-pressed to wrap my head around the point of it all.
They edited the image of Yahtzee wearing a KKK mask in the Pokemon review edit: they also edited out another KKK visual joke and edited out a guy wearing a nazi swastika
If you go from one of the older ones to a new one there is a higher volume now and more emphasis on his words now (if you can't tell I've been binge watching them again)
1:03:30 I love how they tried to remove the visual gag of Yahtzee wearing a Klansman hood but failed so miserably
KC NotQuiteHD ikr i just saw it lol

Lordofthe44 they really should’ve tried harder if they were dead set on censorship. So yeah, kinda.

0:02:45 Welp it just turns out Rockstar don't pay taxes at all.
@@LuizAlexPhoenix same for most AAA games.
Activision/blizzard and Ea both also recieve returns on taxes they never payed.
Yahtzee complaining about HL3 delay 10 years ago is cute
Copied form another comment so I can find it again

Well, I'll be entertained for the next 4 hours.
I would definitely play "Constable Blimey Chips".
what's funny about 1:11:00 is that that's literally every single game xDD And i fucking love it
To the future people watching this in the year 2031, perhaps to study for your media studies course on retro video games. Can you let me know what the 20th anniversary, 280th re-release of Skyrim is like and can we play it on ATM's or on the back of someones head on the bus yet?
22:00 criticism is easier to deal with when it is thinly spread. OMG trump has been watching all these years
Oh hey, this one has the minecraft review.
Oh hey, isn't minecraft cool again?
Good timing.
2:47:10
LOL! i see what you did there. But why tho?? Cutting out lines and jokes ruins it
They've been cutting jokes left and right in all of these.
I wonder if people will go ahead and readd them as some sorta complete collection...
@@tinyman1144 There's a few comps that have no lines cut so probably only a small group will miss the jokes
"FBI DEA BBC TCP/IP LOL" 😂😂😂😂
"F***ity Neurofen", pretty much my description of the cock up cascades that occur as I'm due to leave work soon......
"If you're like me handsome talented and secretly longing for death"...yeah that sounds about right...
3:38:19
Call the Secretary of State a _what?_
A f***ot.
Impotent?
2:51:26
Did Yhatzee write the Jam novel based around this joke or to sneakily advertise it before it was even released?
Knowing him, this is probably another abrasive joke and I'm reading too much into this, so I'm leaving this question here to dangle for the sci-fi future internet archeologists to puzzle over and create false theories of, with their cute little science projects be obsolete in nanoseconds as more theories come up while I watch from on high with my suspiciously comfy chair.
Its funny how he shits on Mind Jack's multiplayer, when its literally the idea Fromsoft has picked up and run with.
So... Which jokes were censored this time around?
What was censored before?
@@384vh5mw Half of the jokes in the 2009 video
Editing=/=censorship
@@09csr but the videos are called "every Zero punctuation video (year)" not "every Zero punctuation (year), abridged version"
When the jokes that get cut are risque, editing them out is censorship.
In the minecraft episode, did anyone else notice the mobile phone interference noise? And some more weird noises after?
Man I would love to know what Yahtzee would think of sky factory
Didn’t know i needed this.
I met a traveller from an antique land....
His 2010 best and worst is an all time favorite
A nice trip down memory lane
how did you do it can you share with me , thank you
I actually took a shot everytime he mentioned team fortress 2 and I don’t think i can forgive him for that
I heard the LA Noire zero punctuation review before I saw any gameplay, I thought it was actually about a robot for a while
So, I just watched a bunch of videos from a time where I was 10-11.
I'm 19 now.
I'm starting to feel depressed again.
I slept to this
Thanks
Quantum Leap guy.
Isn't he effectively immortal?
Funny how there's no monetization for this.
Because they tried censoring the jokes and visuals that were tasteless to them, to get ads
32:46 FEEL THE STING!
I remember that other m. That shit felt personal. Crazy thing is, it still feels personal now, especially with the rape robots.
Brings everything up right.
Mr Croshaw.
Anytime I see the ZP character with a hood on (see: every AssCreed video) I see a guy with a deranged upside down grin rather than a shadowed face, no matter how long I've known it's a shadowed face.
F***ity Neurofen...... I'm using that next time I have a headache at work, thanks Yahtzee!!
Excelent 4 hours of wank jokes with a little bit of game revews
Lol the kill zone review has one frame with the swastika on the nazi
Alright be honest... How many edgy jokes did you cut out this time?
Quite a number from my count so far. The joke about the president calling the Secretary of Defence that one gay slur is out, presumably because we're not allowed to make fun of insensitive gits like that anymore. There's probably been a few other ones here and there, but since I'm just listening to this in the background (since I watched the original uncensored complications like 7 times through) I've probably missed a few.
@@gavinmatthews5903 they cut the slide in WoW review where yahtzee hangs himself on Christmas day. So the image stays still for 9s
The gay joke in Driver: San Francisco is gone too. Not sure why. Awful lot of us gays there, and it was a fun hat-tip.
They edited the image of Yahtzee wearing a KKK mask in the Pokemon review
edit: they also edited out another KKK visual joke and edited out a guy wearing a nazi swastika
Oh no Yahtzee you said COMMA as in a punctuation mark there is ZERO PUNCTUATION!!!! GET IT TOGETHER YAHTZEE
Yahtzee hasn’t changed a day
If you go from one of the older ones to a new one there is a higher volume now and more emphasis on his words now (if you can't tell I've been binge watching them again)
His mic quality has though!
'...they travel back in time'- 🙋🏾♀️ '-no, they don't say how, put your arm down...'🙍🏾♀️.
