That line directly into the corner for the height of the left buildings. What tells you that that line goes to the corner and not a little bit lower or whatever?

Hi Doug, Good question. It is a choice of what I want for the drawing. It is a receding perspective line so needs to go towards the single vanishing point. The angle of the line depends on how high the building is and also what I think will look best for the drawing. I wanted the left side to be subtle and dramatic. Other angles would work in relation to the perspective, but it is just a choice of what would look best for the mood of the drawing. Thanks for the question and comments. Regards, Tom
