Alien 1 2 3 were great.... but this is another level: storyline, acthors, screenplay.... a true masterpiece.
Paul W.S. Anderson was a beast in the 90s. Made timeless classics

I absolutely LOVE THIS MOVIE - a Lovecraftian ghost story in space, how awesome is that?! Plus you get to see Sam Neil play Psychotic Ship Designer which, I gotta say, was pure gold.
He can play almost everything. Although I'm glad Timothy Dalton got the job, I was impressed by Sam's screentest as James Bond!

It definitely gave me nightmares, and thats what horror is supposed to do.
I remember seeing this movie in theaters as a kid and when this song played at the end credits I thought it sounded cool. Around that same time my good friend at the time was getting me into Prodigy, and when I heard this song I stood up and shouted, "THIS is that song from Event Horizon!!"
I even went and bought the movies original motion picture soundtrack on CD, even though I had already bought "The Fat Of The Land" already. It only had the music score, which is still awesome, but for some reason excluded "Funky Shit" from its playlist.
