The Noosa 16 deserves a video review or a deep dive - straight A's on the written review and an affordable shoe! I just wish they either kept the Evoride with same Noosa specs or added more neutral colors for the Noosa.
Thanks, it's helpful. Got magic speed 1 for 45 bucks and have 100 miles on it. The plate felt really noticeable for first 20. Good tempo day and repeats shoe. SES 1-3 has gradually gotten more soft with each iteration. 1 is my fav out of the 3 so far. Magic for shorter intervals and SES for longer ones has been working well.
Magic Speed 4 - first 10 miles today. Its a decent shoe. But i hate the upper. Its so hot in there. Motion Wrap is just the goat. I dont understand why asics just wont stick to their best in class for once. Also i geniuenly hoped for more FF Turbo.
Matt do you have any information on Morton’s Toe and loading forces, effects of different shoes, or injury risks? I feel like there’s not much on this in the running world and none of my run friends have toes like me 😂
I have the endorphin speed 4 with 100 miles on it, and the heel is worn out significantly with the tread worn through and chewing into the foam because I’m more of a heal striker so that could be an issue with a shoe like Endorphin speed 4, but overall the endorphin speed 4 is a great shoe, it’s just the wear on the heel did not wear well for me
I have NB4 and Nimbus 25 in rotation. Looking for a speed work shoe and was deciding between the MS4 or ES4. I have a pace between 6-7min/km, currently training for two HM in Oct/Dec. Which of these two would you recommend for speed work + to be used during race day?
I'm in the same situation as you. I'm thinking of ES4 as it's recommended for a longer run. So it should be more comfortable for that long runs/HM I guess?
Based on your prior shoe choices, the endorphin speed may be the better choice. If you want something firmer and stiffer (different) then the magic speed may be better
TLDR both are great. ES4 for longer distance, MS4 for shorter faster workouts
What do you mean with a “longer distance”? 10km+?
Magic speed 4 comes in wide on asics website, which I purchased

Matt's hair is looking fire today
🔥🔥🔥
More like, caught on fire 🔥? 😂
I use the MS4 as the training partner for the Sky Paris. I use the ES4 as the training partner for the EP4.

Can't wait for your SB2 review
A review that i needed

Noosa 15 vs 16?
Is the MS4 suitable for Half-marathon runs?

What would be a good replacement for the Magic Speed 3. I think David mentioned the new Noosa.
Is the sauc speed not more of over all shoe, magic speed more a racer /session shoe

Learn to run correctly
How is the toebox on the endorphin 4?
What made you get another pair of the EP4? I thought you didn’t like it enough like Andrea.
I did get over 100 miles on my first pair! They definitely grew on me.
Is the Magic Speed 4 suitable for all day wear ?
Thank you
I just don't trust him without his trusty kanga pouch buddy
I want to bring her out but this video was shot in 100 degree weather. So while I love doing these with her, her health and safety always comes first.

I have novablast 4 as well and recently bought ES4. It is a dream to run in. Super comfortable and fast.
