Nice one. I may just do that myself, if I ever get tired. I despise the new flying stand bases for anything bigger than sisters. Marines? They break too easily. Loved the video. :)

They can be like toothpicks holding up mountains sometimes, especially with such a small connection point. Glad you enjoyed it. 😁

A matte black rod stands out a lot less than a horrible shiny clear plastic.

It's quite interesting how our brain "erases" the black rods when we look at them

So basically... use them for everything BUT their intended purpose, because they're still awful at that. Yeah that's fair.

Kind of, my next video will still use it a s a flying base though. Either way, there are still many different ways they can be used, aside from their intended purpose. However they're used, it's still better than throwing them away.
